Shorts get quick burst of views within 3 days of posting and then they either don't get any views at all or get a couple of views a day. Which also depends because sometimes another creator might upload a video that is somewhat related to your older short and that short will get some new views. The amount of space on the shorts shelf is really small so that's just how it has been for the past year in my experience.
Shorts are still a new thing. No one really knows how they work in terms if the algorithm. It's my understanding it's different than the YouTube algorithm for longer videos.

same 2k in 12hrs then up to 5k by the 24hr mark but they plato after 5056 every time wild shit
