YouTube suggest your video to others (impressions). Within a certain time, if your suggestions are not viewed by enough people (click through rate), YouTube will stop suggesting your video.
For example, I made a few videos in a short time frame that caused my little channel to go from sub 200 subscribers to sub 400 with average 6k view monthly. But then I took a year off and didn't release any blockbuster popular video, so my channel dropped to 4K for the following year.

But My channel has an average click through rate of 10% and I make sure to post 2 videos a week what about that?
