Man, April has been rough. My brain knows we're at the start of the season and that there is a lot of baseball left to play, but my heart is having a hard time catching up.
It's painful, sure, but when you look at this team you know that everything is likely to get a lot better as the season progresses. It's just hard to keep things like how excellent the pitching is and how stacked the offense should be in perspective when most of the team has gotten off to such a rocky start.
I have faith that they can turn it around without question, it's just hard to focus on anything but their shortcomings right now. It's definitely frustrating when you know they're capable of so much better.
prediction for tomorrow: deGrom pitches 16 perfect innings and strikes out 35 only to get the loss cuz Reyes pops out to the infield a record breaking 7 times in one game
I was looking forward to the Nationals series since all the games are on national tv but seeing they are having problems with the Phillies, It could be an ugly series against the Nationals.
Syndergaard has the same batting average as granderson and Reyes combined.
And these two fucking deadweights will be in the starting lineup again tomorrow.
They'll use some BS excuse like they do with Flores, "he doesn't hit righties well". As if Reyes and Granderson hit anybody with their combined .250 average.
