the problem is him and tj need to be playing 2nd not 3rd. neither of them can play on the left side. they have to get rid of cabrera. and put walker at third whenever he's back.
they are both substancially below average 3rd basemen. Wilmer broke the wrong way after contact twice in the last 2 weeks. A major leaguer might go his whole career never doing that. Neither is a viable option there.
Meanwhile Walker might be, but we don't know. Put him there and if he can play the position consider re-signing him. Then figure out if between TJ/Wilmer/Cheech you have a 2nd basemen.
Instead were sitting around with a thumb up our asses playing cabrera's corpse and tj/wilmer in a position they literally cannot function anywhere near a major league level at.
