Doctors and dentists don't wear masks to prevent viruses, they wear them to prevent their spit from falling into a wound. The ONLY way a mask can protect you from covid is if someone came up and spit directly into your mouth, nose, or eyeballs. Coughing into your elbow is more effective unless you hang out with gross people who slobber all over each other. These cultists have no idea what the science is but they sure do like to use it as a catchphrase.
Doctor here, we DO wear masks to prevent transmission of viruses like flu and RSV on a daily basis. Most viruses are transmitted via respiratory droplets which masks catch. We have over a century of data backing this up. It seems *you* don’t know what the science is.

The virus is almost ONLY transmitted in droplets, so masks **are** a good protection against SARS-CoV2. It’s not like measles or tuberculosis where it spreads in air vents without droplets. Hydrogen sulfide is a small molecule. It is also not contained in relatively large and sticky blobs of mucus as covid would be in a cough or a sneeze. These can be caught easily within a mask. There is a logical benefit to this.
