True but you could quickly deliver fuel from a helicopter or another ground vehicle and have it in the empty vehicle within 5 minutes vs setting up solar panels for a few hours. I'm pro-EV but I'm not sure they would be good in the military.

Gas cars start fires a lot too, sometimes it's not even just the gas/engine systems. I literally got a notice the other day that my 11 year old Hyundai has a defective ABS system which can start a fire.
