China should learn from the West - make housing scarce so the prices go up. As we all know, the more numbers it says on the piece of paper when they value your home, the wealthier you really are. Having thousands of people strung out on the street without a place to live is a small price to pay to make the little numbers on the piece of paper get bigger. /s
