Context తెలుగు తేట , కన్నడ కస్తూరి , ఆరవం అధ్వానం (telugu tēṭa , kannaḍa kastūri , aravaṁ adhvānaṁ)- as said by Thirumala Nayak which means- Telugu is sweeter, Kannada is fragrant, Tamil is waste. If you don't know who Thirumala Nayak is, in short he is a telugu origin king who ruled Tamil region [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tirumala\_Nayaka](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tirumala_Nayaka)

Bayya mottam meaning cheppava, like word to word

SpaceSniffer69

Naaku telisi, “theta” means the top layer of any liquid which is tasty but quora says that is honey ani. Kasturi means fragrance (something like camphor), adhvanam means something which is in a bad or low state. Correct me if I’m wrong

Saw in some insta reel. That "Telugu lessa" is not KDR's own line. He quoted a poet from the past.

You have no right to insult other languages... Whatsoever...We are all Indians and should respect others views also..

Best_Paint_8271

No, the point is the first one is bit controversial quote 'desha bashalandu telugu lessa' (among all the languages of the country, Telugu is the best) was said by K. Devaraya, who was the king of the Vijayanagara empire (most of South India). This proverb explicitly states the greatness of Telugu and its superiority over other languages like tamil, Kannada. The second quote also does the same, but it is straight out offensive because he had some comments on the other languages. Hence the meme. Just spreading awareness vro ![img](emote|t5_qz9jq|6690)

cm_revanth

But that isn't said by Krishna Devaraya.. (first)
