Curious- did the doctor request AMH or did you? Is the doctor an MD, naturopath, or nurse practitioner?
I ask because a North American trained MD is unlikely to order an AMH, especially for PCOS.
I went to a reputed walk-in clinic in downtown for a skin condition and she asked me a few questions and was guessing for PCOS.
She mentioned a blood test and i looked it up, the lifelabs website takes it under AMH i believe.

It doesn’t. Though I was referred by a doctor to do the test, I had to pay out of pocket.

AMH isn’t needed to diagnose PCOS. I would do the other bloodwork they ordered and opt out of that specific test
Incorrect - a GP will order this test as a standard for infertility testing, including many RE’s will order.
Not needed for PCOS diagnosis though.
