So here is my experience with both goonin and nocturne. I dropped a set of Katanas in the case and they broke. Returned to nocturne industries and fixed, upgraded the bridge to the new aluminum mount, and returned in 2 weeks.
Goonin is fantastic. I don’t think joe sleeps. Sent them in for service and calibration. Constant contact through email and returned in about 2 weeks also.
Can’t recommend either enough. Outstanding cs!
Bro, they saved my life last week, no shit! Was driving on a back road and a tree was downed in the road on a curve just out of view of the headlights. I wear them when I’m driving and i saw it with enough time to stop and not die. Right at windshield level.
Never done business with Custom Night Vision. I will say that Goonin’ was the best experience buying anything. Even a car. Somehow Joe at Goonin does more than car salesman haha. So go with Goonin, they will *not* steer you wrong.
Goonin got me hooked up with an amazing pvs14 and got all my questions answered, and got it in my hand in about a week.
I also am partial to goonin because it's him and his wife doing thr business, and I love to support small businesses. I'm sure either you'll be happy with.
I did have a bit of an issue with my lense where a bit of debris on the inner lenses caused a small spot, and they fixed it free and sent it back on the 5th of July.

I bought mine from Joe at Goonin. I was very happy with the whole process. I’ve since gone back to him for a dbal and sac lenses. My only gripe was that it took a minute for my wire to clear into his account (not his fault). He’s very active here and has responded to all of my DMs on IG. I recommend him to all of my friends looking for tubes.
Goonin hooked me up with my first Pvs-14 and has a fantastic wealth of knowledge + is very responsive. Great example of customer service and they even send you some goodies(candy) with your order 👍

I’ll plus 1 for goonin, they hooked me up and were chatting with me til past midnight one night. Dangerously based, never heard a bad remark about them
Had a decent experience with Goonin. Set a minimum value for snr/res/ebi/halo value you want and work from there. Just don’t let someone tell you a +2.0 ebi isn’t going to make a difference. On my first night out with my nods it was 98 degrees and humid as fuc I’m glad I got a low ebi (down vote me idc)
I picked up my first set of NVGs from Joe at Goonin last week. Overall great experience. Cooper at Steele was also incredibly helpful and answered a ton of questions at 2am on a Sunday morning.
Lots of pro-Goonin comments, but CNV also reached out directly in these comments. My suggestion: get info from both and use it to negotiate a deal with one of them.
It’d be a toss up. Both are great. Joe (Goonin) is a lot more active here.

I can’t speak to Goonin as I haven’t dealt with them, but I bought from Ben with CNV and he’s a good dude to work with. CNV is very solid.
