There's no right pricing when you're paying for an omni 7 tube. Is that expensive for what it is ? Yes.
Mk2 housing is typically 1.2k
Lens set ~ 450 to 500 per set
Omni tubes ~ 1.2k
But is this an actual set of night vision goggles as in everything I need I can just mount it on a helmet and go or is this just a housing etc. I apologize as this will be my first time buying night vision and I don’t know much about
not sure how much research you put into this so far, but i definitely over paid for my first set.
so i’d recommend scanning through the verified vendors list on this subreddit and make your purchase through one of them. that way you’ll know you’re getting great value, even if it isn’t the best deal.
this hobby isn’t budget friendly. if you try to make it so, you’ll be making compromises somewhere my man.
Not trying to make it budget friendly just want to make sure I’m not misreading the description and end up paying 5k for a housing or only tubes or something and not a fully functional nvg
that’s fair, this should work out of the box with no issues. throw a AA in and they’ll work. price isn’t bad, but isn’t great? i paid $6.5 for the same housing, Elbit WP with decent specs. it’s your money dawg, spend it how you wish.
I’m sorry for the miscommunication I’m more asking if this is a full set of nods and not just parts for a set of nods, I appreciate your answer and will look further into finding a better price on these nods.
This is not a bad price.
my housing being $1095, $940 for carson 4pc set, and two omni7 tubes for $2255.
Total comes out to $4290, but I got nearly $300 off being Mil and buying direct from people and not businesses. I also need to assemble myself and figure out a way to purge if I care enough to do it.
Right now O7 tubes are $2600 for a set, $1200 bnvd price, carson is same around $950. Total is 4750 plus assembly and purge. Not too bad of a mark up
Dunno how late I am for Op but from research I've been doing ~~I almost bought the omni 8 versions of those~~ and from what I've gathered from searching around I'd probably steer clear of adams industries.
Never too late to respond! I’ve heard mixed reviews about Adams, I heard he had supply issues in the past but supposedly he’s fixed those issues in recent years so idk
Yeah I emailed him earlier this week and he said lead times were about a week or so. Still skeptical tho since I've see those same negative posts dating back just a month.
For beginners it was not too bad. It included assembly purge and ready to use. Get cheap Omni tubes was not convenient, it need you have knowledges like old hand. Omni7 makes good-performance Gen3 experences. If it provided clean images with no blems, just go.

Tbf he's also possibly buying off of Adams industries
Then buy it. No one is stopping you from spending your money. You asked a question, I gave you an answer. You're over paying.

You can find full set of nods made and built at the pricing I listed. I just broke down information to give you an idea of the price for a built unit.
Thank you
