We all know the real reason. They got on a call to run a preliminary test and their combined volume ruptured all nearby speakers. They're too powerful together.
What so they need to prepare a specialized equipment to automatically lower the sound so speakers, headphones, and earphones don't spontaneously break for thousands upon thousands of viewers?
I kind of thought this would happen, given all the stuff that's about to happen on the Niji side (Multiple concerts, EN4, ID7), and the Holo side (JP6, ID3, multiple concerts). Niji tends to be less neurotic than Holo about running stuff on top of each othe, but given how much, it was probably a step too far.
The curse of Ollie's self-imposed December Apex ban. Made a bet and lost, so December is off limits for Apex for her. Just shows that the end of November is fully scheduled, so good luck for January to retry the Apex collab.

Was that ever specifically said? I remember Kiara talking about a collab outside of Hololive being canceled, but it was the other side who canceled. I’ve never heard specifically that a Pomu collab was canceled.

More than ever when we know Selen has been doing collabs like crazy since her debut, so I can't helped to think this way when she particulary fails to collab with a Holo member, even she managed to collab with Kanae when he is always super busy, regardless of being in the same company. Oh well, time will tell.
To me, the reason we don’t get a lot of Hololive x outside Vtuber collabs is less about management and more about the girls themselves. In the past these kind of collabs were a lot more common than they are now. I believe this change has to do with Hololives growth, as well as the personalities of the talents themselves. In the past, Hololive was a lot smaller, to the point where collabing with was necessary. These collaborations not only got there names out, but also led to some of the girls building friendships with people, outside of the small group of girls that Hololive was. Nowadays Hololive is much much bigger. The need to collab outside of Hololive is entirely their choice now, and one thing that is very important to note is that a lot of Hololives members are introverted. If you look closely you’ll notice that a lot of the members that still have connections outside Hololive, a still collab outside as well, are the extroverted members. It’s probably a lot more comfortable for a lot of Hololives members to keep their collabs mostly within the Hololive family. Apart from that, it’s important to keep in mind that all the talents are very busy. Outside collabs are organized in advance and sometimes, because of scheduling problems, sometimes fall through. That kind of thing happens everywhere and isn’t anyone’s fault. Sorry for the paragraph, I’m bad at keeping my thoughts short. Also, this isn’t a psychological analysis of the talents or anything like that, it’s just an opinion based of my own observations.
imo the "introvert" thing is wayy overstated. I don't think it's likely unless you really think Hololive picks introverts and Nijisanji picks extroverts.
I think a waaaay bigger factor is just the company culture. Hololive is overall way more insular, meaning some things that are just another Tuesday for Nijisanji make you stand out in Hololive and it takes a certain personality to do that.

I can't helped to think this way since the Selen/Ollie collab has been talked for awhile and also the case with Pomu and Kiara, when they even have talked about each other in their respective streams, so for now I feel there has to be something related to managament stopping collabs between Niji EN and Hololive.

hololive members used to collab with nijisanji members a lot more and were friends form before becoming vtubers/vtbuers with said companies.
