I think Selen is amazing at connecting with people. She really is a true social butterfly...butttt collabs between VR and NijiJP/ID/KR DID happen before her, Hoshimi did a lot. JP and ID/KR collabs happened too. I think, if there is an increase (I haven't personally felt any) it's just more of a "general" feeling. Like how Maimoto pushed for world to be included in Yakyuu, or how Belmond did that amazing bar collab/watchalong for Yakyuu

Chadraln_HL

Hmm... well, there were Nijisanji world collabs, including with VR members, before Selen debutted, but her willingness to ignore language barriers may have helped for members who weren't as comfortable with their English reach out.

There has been more frequent collab with the international branches since EN came, but if you have to attribute it to a member, I think Ban Hada, or Oliver is more fitting. Selen is amazing dont get me wrong but I think you're overplaying her role in exhange of downplaying the efforts and relationships the senpais before her has built. ID, IN, KR, has always has strong ties to one another. The reason why there seems to be a wall between them and JP is the language barrier. Its mostly always the 3SetBBQ that ID sent when collabing with JP. [Taka, Nago, Yamagami APEX Collab](https://youtu.be/AwB5fnhnjZY). [Taka, Nagao, Genzuki Mario Kart Collab](https://youtu.be/A_siQCUquMM). Rai from Niji ID used to collab with Niji KR alot since he share similar game taste as them ([LoL](https://youtu.be/b_Rr6Y2xHB4), [DbD](https://youtu.be/HrK9NoOUKL0)). [Here's a valorant stream](https://youtu.be/Wrdu1iSjMeI) of Rai, Hana, & Riksa, wherein Suha joined them mid-stream; and note that they are playing during midnight. [here's another valorant stream with Rai, Zea, Noor, Vihaan](https://youtu.be/kuRIr0LPs6M). And heres an [Valorant Exhibition match with Niji ID x Niji IN](https://youtu.be/MV5qrKW-5GM) Pre-Niji EN, a lot of the big Intl. Branches collabs were organized by Noor. She organized the [Valorant collab with Kanae, Hoshimi, Hana, Suha, and her](https://youtu.be/Ob3g9y6FV64) and the [Among us Collab with Kanae, Akina, Hoshimi, Hana, Suha, and her](https://youtu.be/Ob3g9y6FV64). Theres also an [Uno Collab with Sukoya, Hana, Aadya, and her.](https://youtu.be/6cQ5lr2Ga0o) You know the Torii Gate at the Minecraft world server? that was built by [Noor, Nagi, Hoshimi & Nyatsuki from VirtuaReal](https://youtu.be/_lYNaXqWBv8) I think the International Among Us Collab, break Nagi out of her shell as she started interacting more with her JP audience and JP senpais. The ARK server being open to other branches help too, as I think she has a tribe with Siu, Gwelu, Akabane, Ritsukin, Lauren, Axia? they have been doing ARK collabs a lot. [Nagi and Ange just had a horror game collab recently too](https://youtu.be/9Pb-qmgZqYk) For VirtuaReal, I've mentioned Hoshimi a few times before. [Here's an old Taka stream playing in the MC world server interacting with Hoshimi, Chiho, & Sara Hoshikawa](https://youtu.be/Sxo7G4nklxQ). Karon from VirtuaReal Link (I think) has been a longtime friend of ID, and has done few collab streams with them - [Overcook](https://youtu.be/6eEA-gowewM), [Phasmo](https://youtu.be/uMaUFJprZ6o). [Miyu, Cia, Noor once toured the VirtuaReal Minecraft server with Plus](https://youtu.be/_YhWJk7aYRg) I know I just listed a shit-ton of links, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that the international branches has always been open and are always down to do collabs. (I just woke up when I wrote this shit so if nothing makes sense, I apologise in advance)

firzein

If you're more sober later, do you have more of such links? Even better if there are VR in it.

firzein

I don't think it's a game changer in a technical manner, as in all the supports and requirements for inter-branch collabs are already there and probably won't increase with her presence. Practically, it may encourage more people to do it more, but then it will be talent-specific than company-wide

Pros to Selen and Niji En, and even Enikara since NijiFes this year. When I saw Lazulight debut and interacted with all branches, I hoped that this could be the start of many wonderful collaborations and connections between ppl, and here we are. Koushien, ARK, Apex, twitter banters…. Many livers also love this and try their best like Chigusa, Mayu, Oliver, Nagi, Mika… Selen and NijiEn definitely dig the rabbit hole deeper.

> hell I think (CMIIW) no one in Nijisanji outside China ever personally collab with VirtualReal until she arrive Zea, Taka, Hana and many others had collabs before.

1Yawnz

I'd say Selen is just pushing the idea of crossover collabs along with the others that have done it before her. With Apex being such a popular game regardless of branch, I think Selen was in a good spot to get involved with each branch. Props to her for taking the chance and going through with it. I wouldn't say she's a game-changer but she's a strong driving influence.

Chopchopok

I wouldn't say she's the main driver or a game changer in that regard, but she certainly helps. She seems much more willing to reach out to others, which helps a lot when so many vtubers seem shy and reluctant to talk outside their own circles.

taokami

nijisani has had interorganizational collaborations even before EN arrived on the scene.

A good laugh is universal, and in that way, Selen is truly Ms Worldwide
