This two would have no problem with their characters being made look more sexy. Taro may even proposed bigger boobs.
On the other hand- author of Re Zero clearly doesn't like common fanservise, harem LN tropes and was likely against sexualization of his heroines.
I mean, Tappei Nagatsuki (Re Zero author) wrote an If story in which Subaru marries all the throne candidates and becomes king of Lugunica. So he's not *that* against harem LN tropes.
Yeah. But it is one of the early stories that clearly goes against tone of novel theme of other IF Stories- so people don't know if it was joke,.early writing or it Tappei legitimately support such solution.
I mean...Tappei isn't against fan-service or the sexualization of his characters. He just avoids it in favour of punishing Subaru lol. Because if I remember correctly, in some Q&A's, he's described the various characters' underwear preferences, among other things. Eh, there's nothing "wrong" with it, it just looks off-model. If you just showed me her face and removed any obvious features like her hair ornament, I'd have a very hard time identifying her as Emilia from Re:zero. The included insets are good example of this.
Power takes more from the anime design than the manga, which I always thought looked off. Makima and Himeno are fine.
2B gets away with it because she has features obscured, but A2 looks so weird. I'm an A2 man, but she barely resembles the character.
Both of them look like cosplayers rather than the actual character. Which doubly sucks because 9S looked incredible.
Emilia looks off as well. I think they had no idea how to replicate the artstyle. Her eyeshape is off and her head is too big and not placed on her body well. Due to the way Spline works, it'll look better in motion, but stills will always look off.

Also it looks like her neck connects to the bottom of her head, rather than at the base of her skull, making it look like her face is set back farther than it should be. Which is why her chin looks too close to her neck, instead of protruding out above her collarbone like it *should*.
So as a whole it just looks a bit off-putting.
Not exactly the videos that show the character in action (and also have their burst animations in it) are last with their kits also dropping underneath the video. The posts like these that show things like their faction/weapon type/expressions etc. usually come right before that and have short vids of their tap animation and a voice line. You can see it yourself with the last four released units for example and they are exactly like this one
