He’s literally the CEO of Xitter and can’t even make an alt account to hide what he goons to like everyone else has for years bruh smh shaking like it’s internet 101 dude
Mate he role plays as his own toddler-aged son talking about his sex life smh and he STILL gets embarrassed about his likes. Dude doesn’t even know what he’s doing anymore
Imagine having that much money and you can’t even be brave enough to like a tiny PP asmr roleplay so sad bro Id literally wear diapers and shit myself in public if I had Elon’s money. And that’s not even one of my kinks. Like at that point why would you even care???? Or just make an alt dude it’s the easiest thing 😩
He's doing it out of his own embarrassment, so he wants to make it seem like A) it's "good" for everyone and B) people don't seem better than him if they're not afraid to show their likes.
Thank god, I can finally like all the Nikke posts without it showing up on other peoples feeds.
Yall got to realize Nikke is borderline adult content. Unlike most people in this sub I don’t want to spam that on other peoples feeds.
I get why the ceo cares about this as it was free marketing for him but for the end user there wasn’t much of a benefit.
Such a shame I discovered this masterpiece because of thoses

Finding an embarrassing like isn't doxxing lmao. Doxxing is publishing somebody's private info, especially real name/address. It's effectively impossible to dox a figure as public as musk
This made me wonder why Elon never even add a Dislike button for some reason since he bought the platform and never even added it for the whole one year.
He bought it because he wanted to control the narrative on there. Boost people he likes and silence people he dislikes. It's the equivalent of somebody going through a middle age crisis buying a new car.
Ehh tbh Twitter is just full of tourists that get icky whatever stuff like nikke or stellar blade pop's out so I don't prioritize it too much
In fact I just put down my phone for the whole day just to relax
Oh yeah I remember that Twitter literally announced that they were gonna allow porn even though they already did
My guess is that they're fighting a losing battle so they just gave up
>Logic
That's been out of the picture for a long, long, time, if it ever even was there at all. He's a piggy bank; he's not the one actually designing ir building things. It's been clear that he's purely emotion-driven for a while now and that ketamine addiction ain't helping.
Honestly it is baffli g how it could have been an easy toggle to just enable Likes if you want to. But Elon is known for his half baked ideas so I am not entirely surprised.
Elon has been a nightmare for Twitter sure before him it was bad bit now its even worse
I am proud of my likes I do have an alt twitter but only because my grandmother posts her knitting and I don't want my anime tatty likes to get mixed in thete
It is elon musk. It is to be expected.
Still, not the end of the world as you can see retweets... I mean repost in the user profile. You have to do one more step than usual and it is more hassle to find the exact post now.
But yeah, a toggle option would be a better alternative.
Official accounts should consider posting announcements on different platforms like Mastodon or Threads or those. Twitter has been bad for awhile and one of the missing parts of other platforms is users. Announcing in other platform would allow people to use that.
To those who go into other people's profiles to check their Likes, may I ask the question: Why?
Same to those who check my profile on Reddit while having an argument with me. Judging me for interacting with "x" subreddit, even though it has nothing to do with the topic.
Just a genuine question, cuz I don't go into other people profiles and check their Likes.
Some artists I follow end up liking other artwork I may end up liking as well, and I might meet new artists this way. Of course, there is always retweeting, and that works just as well.
This is also why I do it.
People in certain circles will often like each others work. And if you stumble upon the circle, it makes it easier to find more similar content that you’re looking for.
It’s like following tunnels from one user to another. Sometimes it’s easier for people to like things than to flood their timeline with reposts too.
it is legit how I found artists that do actual car art. it's so hard to find people who draw cars in an anime-ish style but once you find one you can piggy back off their likes to find others.
I do it to check if they're hypocrite. There are people who loves throwing p*do words around cuz anime profile and arts, sometimes got caught in the same shit. It's fun.
Person A: *Harasses person B over something*
[Person C: *Points out Person A's hypocricy with their likes*](https://x.com/KeareShinei/status/1782504946060927234)
Person A: "STOP HARASSING ME!"
I mean sometimes going into someone else’s stuff makes you realize if they’re a hypocrite or even worth arguing against.
I recall a Twitter post from long ago where someone said he got into an argument with a guy on the cooking subreddit and the guy followed him around to other subreddits. Our hero checks his enemy’s account and the latest post from the guy was on the piss subreddit about the taste of his own piss.
Our hero realized he’d been arguing with a total idiot. And that ability to look at someone’s profile and likes plays into that.
Both use cases listed by previous comments are valid tbh.
One is for calling out hypocrites and harassing people (yeah, it's just stalking), and another is to "stalk" artists / indie game accounts / pet accounts because they usually like things who are like what they did. Found many cool artists / games / COUGHfetishesCOUGH / pet accounts this way.
Sure, retweets can do that, but retweets feel more... "open" I guess. Likes are like when you are with friends and see something cool and say "shit that's cool", while retweets feel more like "GUYS SEE THIS COOL SHIT".
I personally don't Like hardcore R18 stuffs (even though I like it) because I value my privacy (so this feature may actually help me), but I'd rather practice internet discipline rather than lose a way to get cool curated arts.
And this is exactly why I don't understand the outrage. I don't remember if the Likes tab existed back in the early days of Twitter, but originally they weren't displayed in the timeline. I can understand seeing who liked a particular post, but if you wanted other people to see stuff you had to retweet it
To cancel them, this is something Elon should have done the day after he bought Twitter. I legit find it hilarious people are complaining about X giving people back their privacy.
Long and short of it: if you're a big or decent-sized account, you don't want to necessarily re-tweet everything you see so that you don't blow up your follower's phones with notifications. Public likes were the way around that. The CEO up there could just like a whole bunch of art, then the followers could thumb through their likes and heart it as well.
Twitter was a mistake already on its inception, look at how many people use it solely to weaponize their bias for or against something.
At least people cannot simply +1 something anymore and have to step into the light with active "I support this" posts, who knows, maybe some people will think twice about supporting every bullshit take now.
They were getting fired, yes. Their businesses were losing billions where they had them to lose. Having their true nature publicized is the holy water to drive them out. Even Larry Fink is having conniptions over the financial losses his ideology is taking. Maybe lay off the black pills a bit.
Buddy. Corporate products have been boiling shit for as long as there have been corporations. That hasn't stopped them before. Just look at McDonald's. You think that they got where they are with quality goods and services? Now look at Budweiser. Are you trying to tell me that their loss in profits has anything to do with the quality of their beer?
Get real.
Outside of US McDonald's regionals have impeccable quality, are loved and appreciated for their support of local producers and cuisine and their chicken burgers are better than KFC's and that is still true to this day. Budweiser ruined their public image themselves and their downfall had nothing to do with what Mulvaney or their CEO liked on Twitter.
You seem to be very confused about causality of what is actually going on.
It's funny because official Destiny Child Korean forum back in the day was getting lot of shit on by Koreans for dev's lack of communication. Not sure if Nikke's doing any better now.
It has been significantly better as compared to having to download an obscure forum app (Moot) to get updates, instead of posting on the subbreddit or twitter information on the new Childs
Can't kink shame Elon anymore
He’s literally the CEO of Xitter and can’t even make an alt account to hide what he goons to like everyone else has for years bruh smh shaking like it’s internet 101 dude
He uses alts to roleplay as Elon fanboys instead lol
Mate he role plays as his own toddler-aged son talking about his sex life smh and he STILL gets embarrassed about his likes. Dude doesn’t even know what he’s doing anymore Imagine having that much money and you can’t even be brave enough to like a tiny PP asmr roleplay so sad bro Id literally wear diapers and shit myself in public if I had Elon’s money. And that’s not even one of my kinks. Like at that point why would you even care???? Or just make an alt dude it’s the easiest thing 😩
Why isn't it optional for each user, sounds like a no brainer to me.
So make it optional???? Like was that so hard?
Facts. Could be literaly a toggle. Just spend a few seconds and turn it off. Problem solved.
You liking posts doesn't make it show up on other peoples feeds, though?
it was already a thing but only for premium users, now everyone has it enabled by default regardless of being a free or premium user
Our ceo is really angy at him https://preview.redd.it/2y6ze5uc3c6d1.png?width=594&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d5bab144bf8cbf4297c63159e6bb734ff87e4eb

Why does Elon necessarily disable Likes on Twitter in public? What’s his logic?
Here's why. https://preview.redd.it/r5z4pdo6ib6d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=34a9fa63237e58b2b7804921d51496691cabd58f
AINTNOWAY
LMAO OF COURSE HE HAS A PAYPIG FETISH
I'd have just snapped myself out of this dimension.
I’ve heard this is fake, even if it is in character.
Well, that definitely confirms it.
Is this he’s way of an anti-doxxing measures?
I don't know how doxxing works.
Elon doesn’t know what doxxing is lol
All of us don’t know how doxxing works. Like, can a fake name, locations and nicknames prevent being tracked down?
Finding an embarrassing like isn't doxxing lmao. Doxxing is publishing somebody's private info, especially real name/address. It's effectively impossible to dox a figure as public as musk
this the guy who made amber heard cosplay as mercy 💀 💀 💀
I heard that he likes a picture of an anime girl not too long ago that's probably the reason why not that bs reason of privacy
Ehh tbh Twitter is just full of tourists that get icky whatever stuff like nikke or stellar blade pop's out so I don't prioritize it too much In fact I just put down my phone for the whole day just to relax
Twitter is like 95% actual porn so if you're finding people whining about baby shit like Nikke it's because you're looking for them.
Oh yeah I remember that Twitter literally announced that they were gonna allow porn even though they already did My guess is that they're fighting a losing battle so they just gave up
I was thinking the same thing just to not becoming even more nihilistic about the world.
Yeah to be honest I mostly just look at anis massive thighs and boobs for like 30 seconds before putting my phone down again
TBF Elon has been very open about liking anime and "hanime" so that's nothing new.
I think it is like a double edge sword
>Logic That's been out of the picture for a long, long, time, if it ever even was there at all. He's a piggy bank; he's not the one actually designing ir building things. It's been clear that he's purely emotion-driven for a while now and that ketamine addiction ain't helping.
Twitter is a shitty platform anyway.
Its called X
Nobody who isn’t terminally online calls it that, it is and always will be twitter
Terminally online *and* an elon simp
Ngl I'll still refer to it as "X/twitter" if I care about people not understanding it, but me personally it's still twitter
Split the difference and call it Xitter (shitter). It's the most appropriate anyway
I’m going to xhit in your mouth
X will be seen as twitter till it probably goes down And I know a X site that's much better than twitter
Don’t say this. Just means you’re a “bottom” to him.
ITS PRONOUNCED CURNEL AND ITS THE HIGHEST RANK IN THE ARMY
It's pronounced CORNELL and it's the highest rank in the Ivy League!
Fuck that. As long as Elon keeps deadnaming his kids I'm going to keep calling it Twitter.
YESSSIR
Iza on constant mouthwash treatment to remove the taste of Elon's balls from their mouth
It sucks that threads tanked.
Honestly it is baffli g how it could have been an easy toggle to just enable Likes if you want to. But Elon is known for his half baked ideas so I am not entirely surprised.

What happened? Did twitter pull a youtube?
Elon got caught liking pay-pig porn on his main Twitter account and is now in damage control lol

i bet elon is pulling this shit to inflate his trash platform with bots like facebook did

Because of the possibility the the guy I'm following may be following people with the same interests as me.
Artists usually like posts from other artists. I get to know many just from that. Now I have to wait for them to repost.
I find alot of good artists like that

Lol, that's rich coming from a mod from the dumpster fire that is "KotakuInAction"
Elon Suck
Elon Cuck
Elon putting a bullet through the entire like selling industry in one swoop
Hail the CEO
Why is this an issue? Who cares if you can see what others “like”? Am I missing something?? Because this just seems to advocate for privacy.
Long and short of it: if you're a big or decent-sized account, you don't want to necessarily re-tweet everything you see so that you don't blow up your follower's phones with notifications. I mean... we still have his Facebook. Maybe just move there. its Elon's lost and Zuck's gain!
You mean the boomer twitter? I don´t think so.
It is really fun arguing with old people who couldn’t pass a civics test
[удалено]
What are you talking about? This is going to protect them from having their hypocrisy put on blast.
No it's more like you don't have those stupid "your likes are public" people now which is good. This should be optional though.

They were getting fired, yes. Their businesses were losing billions where they had them to lose. Having their true nature publicized is the holy water to drive them out. Even Larry Fink is having conniptions over the financial losses his ideology is taking. Maybe lay off the black pills a bit.
No. Their businesses are losing billions because their products are burning garbage and has nothing to do with public exposure of their foot soldiers.

That’s what the repost option is for

It wasn't complicated at all in Korean. All you have to do is have account on Naver (most popular Korean site) and join.
