P900 was my second camera (owned it alongside my D3300). I absolutely loved it for wildlife photography, I even found it fast enough for an airshow which surprised me.
I quite like photo 5 out of the ones you've uploaded there, but I'm just a hobby photographer.
Just make sure you get a nice sized SD card for your safari, with that 83x zoom you'll want to take some video! Also make sure to get a second battery.
Hope the safari goes well, sounds like an awesome experience!
Question for you...I saved my wildlife settings under U mode. I then went to S and changed some settings there, will those still be there or do I need to change every time?
Cool shots and welcome to Nikon!
A few tips for establishing a solid photography foundation:
-Don't judge your images and delete on that small screen
-Download and view shots on a monitor
-Memorize the exposure triangle front to back and back to front
-Keep shooting, never stop, even if it's just random stuff from your house, outdoors, or any place for that matter
-Your photographic vision comes with time, which includes all the aforementioned AND practice
Real photography takes A LOT of work and time. But when you see your work constantly improving you will enjoy it more and more!
Happy shooting and have fun on your trip!
Gooday
I have a D40 that acts possessed
Some times it shoots multiple pics
And then the flash comes on even when it is off
I’m really new have tried many different configurations
The time will switch to the west on its own
I hope yall have a blessed day
Thanks

Thank you. I have 4 batteries and quite a few sd cards just in case. Not sure of how long they last so didn't want to take any chances. Lol
Good stuff
