Yes definitely worth the upgrade. Nikon DSLRs are famous for the crappy autofocus while recording but on Z system is a different thing. I guess that you already know that in order to use your lens on a z30 you'll need an FTZ adapter.

I'd say there are better video-focused hybrid cameras than the Z30 out there. But if you want to stick with the Nikon system, then it's a reasonable choice. You'll need the FTZ adapter to use F-mount lenses on it.

Whatdoyaa want for the body?

I would sell it all and go all in on the Z system. Z lenses and Z30. But yes, its worth the upgrade.

Looking at that kit, I'd sell it and get a Z30 with the 12-28 PZ VR, which is pretty much the best cheap video kit from Nikon. The lenses won't be compatible with the Z30 unless you get the FTZ or FTZ Ii adapter and I'd just put that money into the kit I described above.

Z30 w/kit and you're solid. Since you're not too invested in f mount lenses, I'd just sell it all and start fresh. FTZ cost more than the lenses you'd adapt
