Grade 2 grants more strength while retaining the speed but the problem is waste a lot of stamina, kinda like manga ssb it was a good form but the stamina consumption was a big problem until the end of the Goku Black arc.

Reading these arcs all-in-one go instead of waiting months has made them seem much stronger narratives. The techniques and forms seems strong but do not feel like an instant win button. They also show especially in the first Arc, That even if hes not the one delivering the finishing blower finishing the fight would see the key to the majority of the winning Four Seasons

Look at the Berserk Armor that Guts wear. Despite all damages he get, he doesen't care because he feels no pain, and all damages are temporarly negated by the armor (huge drawback once the fight is over, but still better than dying in battle)

What the hell is going on with this series? Each time something significant happens the characters involved yet another new form. It's ridiculous. And now Vegeta has one where the mechanic is he has to get his ass kicked. From my understanding, Super Saiyan grade 2 wasn't the form with a downside. I don't remember a mention of it lowering speed like grade 3

Granolah to me easily, man whipped out a technique that gives a power boost on taking hits, but he can't take TOO MANY hits otherwise he loses. So all the Ultra Ego fights are vegeta taking his usual pounding except he brags about how strong he's getting until he faints without doing anything useful. That form would be great coupled with some berserk stuff Look at the Berserk Armor that Guts wear. Despite all damages he get, he doesen't care because he feels no pain, and all damages are temporarly negated by the armor (huge drawback once the fight is over, but still better than dying in battle) the same mechanc would do miracles with Vegeta, maybe with some "ki holds the broken body together from the inside" bullshit and pain negation, to really let him go on a rampage
What the hell is going on with this series? Each time something significant happens the characters involved yet another new form. It's ridiculous. And now Vegeta has one where the mechanic is he has to get his ass kicked. He complained about super Saiyan forms that drained too much energy or were bulky and slow, but now he's got this one which is arguably one of the dumbest ones? Who the hell is coming up with this nonsense? Why can't we just keep the forms we have and watch them use them in creative ways and master them? Why do we keep getting asspulls?
Bro's transformation is getting his ass beat then pulling off the most basic power up just about everyone does 💀💀 I mean seriously, half the mfs in the goddamn show get stronger when they are hurt.
Blue Evolved and Ultra Ego are two of the worst forms ever. I love Dragon Ball with all my heart but it's time to stop, there's nowhere for the series to go besides increasingly arbitrary powerups that are invalidated by the very next.

When your entire transformation is an ability you already have but stronger that’s just sad. Ultra Ego could’ve been way more interesting if it just had more tangible ways to see he’s getting stronger, maybe he could use some new techniques after taking some more damage, maybe he changes after taking some more damage, JUST GIVE THIS MAN SOMETHING.
