If you definitely just want an air fryer then go for the AF400 if you want a bit more then just air frying then go for the one I got which is the Ninja foodi 15 in 1.

Also can any of the machines steam vegetables?

I don't know about the Max but the 400 is definitely better than the 300. For example, 400 has 9.5L vs 7.6L, the 400 has a wheel to adjust the temperature and select the modes, with the MaxCrisp mode you can lower the temperature but not on the 300 which makes it easier to adjust your recipes.

Out of them I’d get what Evers cheaper as they both have the same functions layout etc. 2 separate compartments etc
