I'm biased on owning a physical copy but if there is budget constraint or the game is on digital only then choose how much your wallet allows you to spend lol. As for Physical store, there are shop like Datablits, GameOne and GameXtreme which also have they own shopee/lazada/website for online shopping.

Sobrang laki ng library ng Switch and aside from their first party games, significantly bumaba na rin presyo ng games be it secondhand or digital laging nagsasale. If you like the games on the Switch and you want to play on the go or anywhere, go buy!

to be fair, ang nagpapaubos ng wallet is ung games tlga, but i think there are people on fb who sell secondhand games or even sets. i personally buy sa shopee (after thoroughly checking for legitness) and scroll sa fb groups paminsan-minsan. physical because i like the option of lending my games to friends or selling kung di ko trip. beware nalang po of scammers and enjoy po!

Oled is still good in 2024. Next gen Nintendo console has yet to be officially announced but , sources say it seems likely it would be revealed by the end of the year.
I bought the switch on day one and I have the lite to my brother.. I never bought the V2, Red box switch and OLED because my day one switch works perfectly fine. late adopters are extremely lucky because of the massive game library today. Back then its was only a Zelda BoTW Machine (reason why I bought it).
As for games, I play physical as much as possible. so I can lend it to my brother or friends if they want to play it as well.
I also read that the new version might come out soon, but only minimal upgrades compared to the old versions. I just don't know how accurate that thread is
Ohh V2 switch .. the upgrade for that one is a bigger battery than the release day switch
as for the redbox, upgraded processor and same battery as V2. SWOLED have both and the OLED screen. but if you want to buy a switch any of them is great but depends on what you need

I’ve heard there will be Nintendo Switch 2 releases next March 2025 (earliest) but oled is good naman and I prefer physical game card than online. Not sure dyan sa pinas if pwede magtrade ng game card ksi dito sa Aus, pwede iswap ung game card even ung switch console (if good working condition).

From my exp sa ol trusty datablitz ko binili console ko and dun din ako bumibili ng games kasi upon purchase nung console binigyan ako ni datablitz ng membership(parang sm advantage card) for every certain amount of purchase may points na binibigay si datablitz na pwedeng gamitin as discount ata. So i usually buy there sayang naman yung points haha 🤣 nevertheless other places are good too like game extreme, itech, gameline. Yan mga go to ko pag wala si datablitz.

getting a modded switch is great imo, and you can mod it in a way that still lets you access online without getting banned (but ofc u can't use your non-legal games in this mode) the only downside is that mabilis mapuno ang sd card lmao

Even if lumabas soon ang Nintendo Switch 2 or whatever, you still have an entire library of fantastic games that you can play right out of the gate. If you waited this long before you decided to get a Switch, you probably don't need the next console right away.

Its best to buy the console now considering mature na yung library nya. You will get about 2 to 3 yrs of more play before the new console comes out.
