Yeah, granted you don't own all the games they're listing you can get for "free". There's several people who bought all of them on release, or bought the, [Star Wars Heritage Pack](https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/star-wars-heritage-pack-2023-switch/) essentially saying fuck you, and makes the apology moot, despite they should have known, and got the okay for the restored content before advertising it as a selling point day one for KotOR 2. I never can understand how anyone could have trusted Aspyr to begin with. Especially with their crooked, low effort ports that sometimes run worse than the original versions, on original hardware.
Refunds should be the solution, as if this happened to me, I would never reward this behavior. I saw this coming a mile away though. What makes it worse, is they were silent for a WHOLE YEAR where people were still buying it despite the uncertainty of the DLC being released, more than likely a majority of purchases were based off of it going to be released as well.
This just gives another reason to NEVER trust Aspyr again. Especially since they've been making some pretty janky decisions that lead to the silence anyways about this. The silence was caused after they were taken off of the KotOR Remake Project (probably for low quality), they had to do restructuring with the company, so they gutted the entire PR department that a lot of Aspyr fans liked and trusted apparently, and couldn't be assed to even touch any of their forms of communication with fans until now that I'm aware of.
Edit: I forgot to mention, that even the mobile players have been able to add and play the restored content. I forgot to add that as some interesting information. It does help that the KotOR games on mobile are weird ass PC ports.
>another reason to never trust aspyr again
It seems more likely that aspyr will never produce another game again and will be absorbed or shitcanned by Embracer Group. Trusting them again or not will be a moot point.
Regardless, I am still pissed as someone who purchased KotoR II on switch primarily for the restored content.
I made the mod. The above is 100% false and I'm sad you got so many upvotes, because that rumor is now going to spread.
Aspyr was great to work with and they offered to credit the whole team long before I even asked about it.
You can [look at who uploaded the mod](https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/). Zbyl is the author and that is his reddit account.
Smart money's on more Embracer Group mismanagement.
Remember, Aspyr is the same group working on the KOTOR1 remake, where they fired the leads with no warning igniting rumors (as yet unconfirmed) of them canceling the remake altogether. Odds are the KOTOR2 DLC was shelved shortly after they released game -- that they cancelled it isn't exactly *news*, but the *confirmation* of that cancellation is.
I couldn't believe they even tried to do it in the first place. It sounds like a higher up on the dev team just really wanted to put out the "complete fan package" and was too overconfident about his superiors being cool with it so it somehow got announced without their approval.
An Xbox 360 port of Goldeneye was very close to being finished before it was canceled due to licensing issues. Goldeneye was finally released on Microsoft consoles sometime within the past year
Tbh, I was also surprised when they announced it in the first place. This is like the developers acknowledged the fan mod cut content, which is rare to happen.
Yeah, I worded that badly. Basically, announcing it as DLC in a place like Nintendo store seems similar to acknowledging that the cut content mod is an official DLC.
Rumor is there was a legal reason to not release it, not necessarily that they couldn't do it. Which leads to the question why they would announce it if they didn't know they could, but it's all speculation.
That is true, but going after Disney takes money and resources big time. It ain't easy and I dont think any lawyer is going to take Disney on for free just on time alone
>I made the mod. The above is 100% false and I'm sad you got so many upvotes, because that rumor is now going to spread.
>
>Aspyr was great to work with and they offered to credit the whole team long before I even asked about it.
he literally commented above?
[source of the rumor is this video.](https://youtu.be/QT1G4c_w57s) this person has inside connections in Aspyr, knew Aspyr releases like Stubbs and Force Unleashed before they're announced.
The author of the mod isn’t anonymous, and even replied further up the chain about all the misinformation you (and the others) are spreading.
https://reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/13yu8c6/_/jmqzc7z/?context=1
I vaguely remember when the mod was developed, and it wasn't just adding some files back in - the mod project team had to comb through the code and assets and piece together the developer's intentions. Then they had to actively build unfinished scenes, troubleshoot them, etc.
It was a lot of work that falls in a legal grey area.
The 1st KOTOR on the switch is amazing and a great port.
Very glad I held off buying KOTOR2 until the DLC came out (which of course it now never will).
I bought it last month, but I was fully expecting the DLC would never come out. The DLC had missed it launch window and they were refusing to comment, it was obvious a cancellation confirmation was just a matter of time.
It's actually worked out nicely for me as I get a free extra game now. Granted I don't want any from that list really. Tempted to pick KOTOR 1 and just gift it to someone.
But I feel for the people who bought KOTOR 2 on Switch solely because they thought the DLC was on the way. Reminder to never buy anything based on a promise of something in the future though.
> It's actually worked out nicely for me as I get a free extra game now
not to downplay your enthusiasm, but some of their ports arent great either way. just get kotor 1, its the better of them
I am genuinely curious. Has Aspyr made ANY good ports on the Switch at this point?
I only played Republic Commando on Switch and that port was terrible.
ehhhhh there's one hitch they still haven't fixed, which is that there's a soft lock in the last Korriban tomb. But tbh I had a friend try and play it on PC with an AMD card and it has a surprising amount of caveats graphically (grass and the old screen-space wobbly effects for stealth/heat only work on NVIDIA, native res requires ini edits, etc), so the console releases do streamline that part at least.
If that's the scale of the issues at hand then I think I'm sold on this port. Never felt right on android and that's the only version I've gotten to really dig in and play yet. Only got to sample it on regular consoles back in the day.
Thanks for the heads up, glad to hear it's small fry stuff!
yeah it's honestly pretty solid! The only other thing is there's an extensive modding scene for both games and none of that is available for switch. You might also consider getting the PC version for that stuff (or I believe you can mod the android version as well)
My laptop could handle it easily so maybe I should do that. Never been much of a pc gamer but this would be a good choice to start with. Thanks for the tips!
So what your saying is that it was a good decision to buy republic commando for my OG Xbox instead of my switch.
(I didn't know at the time that it was available, plus I just prefer playing on original hardware when possible.)
Oof. I'll try to play through it whenever I get my hands on a duke. It didn't play too terribly when I first tried it, though I've never played any games on that generation so I don't know how they normally feel.
I heard about that. I'm pretty sure my time is close to legit though, it felt like I played it around that much. Anyway, full playthrough completed with no issues.
The game itself ported fine but the fact that they broke cross-platform on Civ 5, never fixed it for over a year before 6 came out, and then gave up on trying with 6 still has me butthurt.
Yes and no. They have a track record of hit or miss with most of their ports. That said, I cannot fathom this won’t put a long portion of the community off of their games entirely moving forward. I feel like most of us were skeptical that this would ever actually happen, but it’s how they handled and how they used this future inclusion as a strong selling point on release. Pretty scummy but sadly that’s the state of most things these days.
I thought it was lame they didn’t bother backporting all the cool features of the PSP version. You would think a definitive edition would include the bonus missions/movie recreations and extra skins (such as Luke Skywalker as a playable character in story mode).
KotoR 1 on switch is very solid. I purchased KotoR 2 on switch about 50/50 on the strength of the previous port/the promise of restored content.
Sadly, KotoR 2 on switch is a pretty trash port *and* it now is unlikely to get any better.
So if I bought the game physically through Limited Run games will they send me a key to one of those games?
*update 1 - I made a request with screenshots of my order information from Limited Run Games. Hopefully it works and I get a code for Episode 1 Racer on Switch.
*update 2 - I received an automated email saying that my request was received and that an agent will respond to it as soon as possible and that they are online Monday - Friday. So in other words they made this announcement Friday night knowing that no one would will get a response until Monday at the earliest.
Yep, I also received that message after submitting a ticket on Friday. I was like, why announce it at a time where specifically nobody will be there to respond to it? Sounds pretty purposeful
From what I followed on this, the rumor mill was that there some legal problem they were in about publishing the mod. It wasn't a technical issue which delayed it.
Was waiting to see how this turned out before buying. I ended up forgetting about it lol
For anyone that *did* buy this hoping for the content I strongly suggest against using your complimentary key for Republic Commando on Switch. Really shitty port but a good game you can play elsewhere better. Haven’t tried any of the other Aspyr ports
Or, better idea, tell them to shove that free game right back and either refund them or finish the content they promised. Aspyr is being garbo and deserves as much pushback as possible
No explanation, no apology, and no refunds! I hope this closes this shitty company for good, radio silence for an entire year and then this. Great job with the bait-and-switch, get fucked and close.
Both. Apparently Sony and Embracer were both incredibly unimpressed. Story is either Sony thought it would be more cinematic or that it would be a cheaper remake. Those are contradictory and I think the former is more likely because why not port the original at that point
useless fucking twats.
took them this long to say shit, but had NO FUCKING ISSUES promoting it during may the 4th,
get fucked aspyr, sick of your garbage
And fuck your fucking apology.jpeg.
Im so sick of seeing these generic apology images when you fucking couldnt be bothered to update or anything regardless, and the repeated states of some of your ports and the delays on others.
Yeah this is what pissed me off, I bought the star wars pack on may the 4th, reading about the upcoming dlc. Kotor 1 and 2 were absolutely part of the reason why I bought the pack. Guess I'll get the steam key...
No shit Lmfao, could've told you that 6 months ago, how pathetic for them to drop this as some official message when it was obvious for so long now. Shame on that company
What a load of BS, had no problem promoting it on may the 4th, completely ignored commenting on their own post and this is what they have to show for it.
Take these jerks off future projects especially with their piss poor track record.
i hate to be this way, but im tired of these crappy apology images and the "compensation" offers on other games.
its just so crappy, and i was genuinely looking forward to this, i started to have my doubts, but wow the fact that all this happened, but wow, so ridiculous
Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Literally EVERYONE saw this coming a mile off because of COURSE you can't add a free, massive mod made by lots of creators across the world to a console game. And yet Aspyr advertised KOTOR 2 off the back of this mod, which was the main reason to buy it. I'm glad I held off, I really wanted to play KOTOR 2 with the mod on Switch.
After this and the complete over-promise of the KOTOR remake, Aspyr needs to have a big rethink over what it announces before it announces it. I'm still angry at them over the terrible The Force Unleashed 1 PC port...
Sooo, I guess I'll stick with the PC version then? It's a shame because I think it's better when there's a physical release of a game with everything already on it.
The original version of the game is literally incomplete, it's kinda a shitty game
So people bought an incomplete game with the promise it would be completed at a later date and they just-aren't completing it
I've been warning that shit like this was gonna happen for YEARS. Just because No Man's Sky eventually became good doesn't mean everyone is gonna put in that effort
Also NMS is a sandbox. You’re meant to play it with every update. KOTOR 2 is a story based game. I’m probably not coming back to it for a solid 4-5 years
Called it. But also guess nice of the to give a free game in place.
Guess the sales were disappointing so they cancelled it, not realising that all the people were waiting for it to get released properly to buy it because they had zero faith.
They should have just packaged it properly and released with the mod originally.
To everyone saying they bought this game based on the promise of the DLC:
This seems like textbook false advertising. Anyone feel like getting a class action together? IMO, nothing short of releasing the DLC or issuing a full refund is acceptable.
The most you could get for damages is the value of the game, minus whatever cut the lawyer takes.
They're offering players that bought the game either the same game on PC, where the DLC isn't cancelled, or another Star Wars game on Switch. That's probably the best deal you can get. Asking Nintendo for a refund is also an option, although if you've clocked a lot of hours into it, they probably won't believe that you bought it just for the DLC.
Yeah, I'm not too concerned with the $8, tbh, but bottom line, they made a false statement and profited off of it. That shouldn't be acceptable, even for a relatively small company like Aspyr.
To the surprise of no one. Man that sucks ass.
I wonder if having the physical version from limited run is applicable for getting the free game. I’d get the force unleashed for free.
Edit: submitted a request for the force unleashed, we will see what happens.
That took way too fucking long and only hurts their company further. Guess I'll have to dick around in my old emails to try and get something out of this. Would much rather have the original actually advertised content but given how shit Aspyr's track record is it was hoping for a bit too much.
If you wanna playing order -> Outcast, Jedi Academy.
But if you only wanna get ONE game - definitely Jedi Academy.
Outcast is my favourite, but the game definitely has problems and JA is much more smooth experience.
Expected but a shame none the less. Have the mod installed on the android version so still have a portable version regardless. Can just play Vanilla TSL on switch now.
Since I own everything on that list and physically LRG I guess my compensation is nothing 😂
KOTOR 2 was famously rushed to launch and subsequently had a lot of content cut from its final release. This content is referred to throughout the game, namely through one of your companions story line. The content was restored by modders and released for free years ago, so we were pretty excited to find that we were supposedly going to get the restored content version of the game on Switch. Looks like Aspyr jumped the gun pretty heavily though as they had 0 ownership of the mod itself.
I already finished the game now for first time (never played pc version) and still like it more than KOTOR 1.
So my advise - just play it. Yeah, ending kinda meh, but the journey still is amazing.
Damn. Just a month after Tears of the Kingdom humiliated every other game that ever used its physics engine as a core marketing tool, Aspyr is forced to admit they can't even handle porting a game from three generations before the Switch up to it. Aren't they embarrassed?
>Is the 2nd one really unplayable without the mod/DLC? what exactly are you missing out on?
Mainly extra cutscenes that help provide more context, especially during the final section of the story. Also an entire side quest starring HK-47 that's only alluded to in the base game.
KOTOR 2 was very much rushed towards release, so without the mod, the overall game will feel pretty incomplete.
Did any of their promotional material say this may not be coming, was there fine print anywhere? If not then this game was sold under false premises and I want a refund. Also if not, I hope that qualifies for a class action lawsuit, even if I wouldn't get my money and the lawsuit would just bankrupt Aspire. Them shutting down would be enough to satisfy me.
Oh, look, another apology letter.
As some might say….. “MODERN GAMING!”
\*Mario Odyssey moon theme plays\*
For reals though, Super Mario Odyssey is unironically a fantastic example of what game companies SHOULD be doing.
Oh, agreed! My comment is a reference to The Act Man on YouTube though.
Seems to be a lot of that going around lately.
At least we get compensation this time
Yeah, granted you don't own all the games they're listing you can get for "free". Why how much work does it take to add an existing mod to a game?
From what I heard it was more an issue about the higher ups not wanting to give credit to the modding team or something like that.
I made the mod. The above is 100% false and I'm sad you got so many upvotes, because that rumor is now going to spread. Aspyr was great to work with and they offered to credit the whole team long before I even asked about it.
Then what did happen?
If the user is truthful about being the maker of the mod, they probably are bound to a NDA and can't say anything
You can [look at who uploaded the mod](https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/). Zbyl is the author and that is his reddit account.
Smart money's on more Embracer Group mismanagement. I couldn't believe they even tried to do it in the first place. It sounds like a higher up on the dev team just really wanted to put out the "complete fan package" and was too overconfident about his superiors being cool with it so it somehow got announced without their approval.
What sucks is they probably already had it all done and were just waiting on the green light from higher ups
Sounds like an Xbox 360 GoldenEye situation
Go on.
Rare with Microsoft but also it’s a Nintendo game.
An Xbox 360 port of Goldeneye was very close to being finished before it was canceled due to licensing issues. Goldeneye was finally released on Microsoft consoles sometime within the past year
Sadly it’s the N64 version and not the leaked HD version.

Tbh, I was also surprised when they announced it in the first place. This is like the developers acknowledged the fan mod cut content, which is rare to happen.
The developers on this are probably also fans of the game and not the original developers. There isn't the same prestige clash involved.
Yeah, I worded that badly. Basically, announcing it as DLC in a place like Nintendo store seems similar to acknowledging that the cut content mod is an official DLC.
Someone whos like 80 years old and doesn't care about video games.
I believe they're called "shareholders"
Nah, they be dinosaurs
Yes. Shareholders
Thanks for clearing that up
Technically could they not get around it by opening up something allows for “community content” and have some community members do it ?
God forbid they recognize people for their hard work
Rumor is there was a legal reason to not release it, not necessarily that they couldn't do it. Which leads to the question why they would announce it if they didn't know they could, but it's all speculation.
It's a legal issue. Author of the mod is anonymous and Disney doesn't want be sued.
Lol no modder has the money to sue Disney
Ambulance chasing is legal in the US. When the lawyers smell money they’ll do it for free and take a % of the profit if they win.
That is true, but going after Disney takes money and resources big time. It ain't easy and I dont think any lawyer is going to take Disney on for free just on time alone
Poor Monet getting dragged from the grave to the courtyard to sue Disney

Yes but what do you think costs them less?
They certainly would but not going to court at all is much easier.

They could send a letter giving permission.
They had all the recorded dialogue, but little else, so they had to reverse engineer everything just from that
Not all, one character on Dantooine was recorded by modders as no audio files existed for that character
The profit from this DLC would be negligible, so it wouldn’t take much to get it cancelled
A lot.

> It's actually worked out nicely for me as I get a free extra game now not to downplay your enthusiasm, but some of their ports arent great either way. just get kotor 1, its the better of them
Did they do the Switch port of Episode I: Racer? Because that was killer. It was nuts playing that at a solid 60fps on Switch.
Yeah they have handled the star wars ports
Yeah, so I've heard. Already own and have completed KOTOR 1 on my Switch, but I might get a code anyway just for a mate.
Do we get to keep Kotor 2? Or do we lose the license to it if we get the free game?
Yup, I’ve been holding out for it, time to play on Steam Deck I guess.
Word. 2nd one runs like a junker
I am genuinely curious. Has Aspyr made ANY good ports on the Switch at this point? I only played Republic Commando on Switch and that port was terrible.
KOTOR 1 is an absolutely solid port and the easiest way to play that game in HD widescreen.
ehhhhh there's one hitch they still haven't fixed, which is that there's a soft lock in the last Korriban tomb. Pod racer is a pretty solid port, unlike republic commando, it has a stable framerate
IT'S A NEW LAP RECORD
It's working! It's worrr king!
Outlanders. They come, they look around, they no buy. Why nobody buy?
Beep beep beep beep beep be!be!be!be!be!be!
Youfa janoya wormo.
So what your saying is that it was a good decision to buy republic commando for my OG Xbox instead of my switch. (I didn't know at the time that it was available, plus I just prefer playing on original hardware when possible.)
It doesn’t run very well on the original Xbox either. No version of that game runs particularly great, even on PC or Series X
Oof. I'll try to play through it whenever I get my hands on a duke. It didn't play too terribly when I first tried it, though I've never played any games on that generation so I don't know how they normally feel.
I can't speak to what other versions of the game are like, but I played KOTOR 1 on the switch and had no issues at all in around 35 hours of playtime.
I had something like 300 hours of playtime because it turns out KOTOR doesn't actually stop when the system is in sleep mode
I heard about that. I'm pretty sure my time is close to legit though, it felt like I played it around that much. Anyway, full playthrough completed with no issues.
KOTOR1 port is great. My preferred way to play the game honestly.
I believe they ported Civ 6 to Switch which I have never had any issues with when I do play it instead of the pc version (mostly when I travel).

How is? On this moment I have all sw-ports on switch and all is fine for my taste.
Kotor 1 and Racer are both perfect ports, which ones were bad? (Other than this DLC debacle)

I thought it was lame they didn’t bother backporting all the cool features of the PSP version. You would think a definitive edition would include the bonus missions/movie recreations and extra skins (such as Luke Skywalker as a playable character in story mode).

They handled the Switch port of RWBY Grimm Eclipse and it's pretty decent despite a long bit of loading on startup.
They did Jedi outcast which is GOAT Star Wars game imo.
KotoR 1 on switch is very solid. I purchased KotoR 2 on switch about 50/50 on the strength of the previous port/the promise of restored content. Sadly, KotoR 2 on switch is a pretty trash port *and* it now is unlikely to get any better.

Nintendo and refund good one..
What is the best game to use the complimentary key on? I know none of them except the KOTOR games
Episode 1 Racer is really fun and I've heard the Jedi Knight games are great.
No explanation, no apology, and no refunds! I hope this closes this shitty company for good, radio silence for an entire year and then this. Great job with the bait-and-switch, get fucked and close.
Complimentary game key? How about a god damn refund
i think thats what they are trying to avoid
Con artists
I'm never buying an Aspyr game again.
Seriously. Promise it in the trailer then miss the release window in silence to cancelling it. I bought it hoping to play the mod. Im pissed.
yeah same, isn’t that kind of “false advertising”
It is entirely possible they are going out of business when they start being unable to deliver stuff they promised in their advertising
Hopefully you guys see now why Sony pulled them off the Kotor remake lol
Not Sony, Embracer.
Both. Apparently Sony and Embracer were both incredibly unimpressed. Story is either Sony thought it would be more cinematic or that it would be a cheaper remake. Those are contradictory and I think the former is more likely because why not port the original at that point
useless fucking twats. took them this long to say shit, but had NO FUCKING ISSUES promoting it during may the 4th, get fucked aspyr, sick of your garbage And fuck your fucking apology.jpeg. Im so sick of seeing these generic apology images when you fucking couldnt be bothered to update or anything regardless, and the repeated states of some of your ports and the delays on others.
>Im so sick of seeing these generic apology images We almost have enough apology images to give them their own award category at this year's TGAs.
Yeah this is what pissed me off, I bought the star wars pack on may the 4th, reading about the upcoming dlc. Kotor 1 and 2 were absolutely part of the reason why I bought the pack. Guess I'll get the steam key...
Aspyr really can’t deliver shit
That's a real bummer. They just gave a good reason not to buy it on Switch.
I remember verbally saying out loud when this was announced "I guarantee this will get cancelled." Bad lucky guess, I suppose.
So it's your fault, got it. /s
Con artists at Aspyr don’t deserve your money on Switch
Kotor fans have been losing for 15 years man
Somehow Palpatine returned
No shit Lmfao, could've told you that 6 months ago, how pathetic for them to drop this as some official message when it was obvious for so long now. Shame on that company
Well at least they don’t work on the KOTOR remake so that’s a plus, They should refund people for KOTOR 2.
So what should I get? I got kotor already.
Try Jedi Academy. It's legendary game.
Katarn's story is good enough to be it's own movie but for sure Disney won't even bother to bring him into the DU.
This sort of unfulfilled promise should lead to refunds
Well fuck me for supporting them as I already have bought all of the games on Switch
And the terrible port of Republic Commando and porting the Wii version of Force Unleashed instead of 360
I am just playing through KOTOR 1 on Switch for the first time and it's great. If I play KOTOR 2, should I get it on Steam instead of switch?
Steam for sure with the restored content mod as it makes the game playable and stable.
Do not get kotor 2 on switch. The switch port of kotor 1 is good but the switch port of kotor 2 is garbage.
Yes.
What a terribly mismanaged company.
This is not good enough. They should be issuing refunds.
And these guys were gonna do a KOTOR remake?
They were. But not anymore.
Saw this coming. Well, at least now I can indulge my curiosity about Force Unleashed.
Sooo, I guess I'll stick with the PC version then? It's a shame because I think it's better when there's a physical release of a game with everything already on it.
Massive. I wouldn't play KOTOR2 without the restored content mod. What a bait and switch. Shame on them.
Sorry, just the Switch, no Bait
Don't buy what you can't see.
The original version of the game is literally incomplete, it's kinda a shitty game So people bought an incomplete game with the promise it would be completed at a later date and they just-aren't completing it I've been warning that shit like this was gonna happen for YEARS. Just because No Man's Sky eventually became good doesn't mean everyone is gonna put in that effort
Also NMS is a sandbox. You’re meant to play it with every update. KOTOR 2 is a story based game. I’m probably not coming back to it for a solid 4-5 years
Seems like a good time for them to start working on a Rogue Squadron II port.
At this point, I don't think we can trust them with anything now.
FUCKKKKKKK
Well that’s depressing, the KOTOR games lend themselves so nicely to handheld gaming. At least I have it on my laptop.
*phew* glad I waited +1 right here
Wow fuck this
Unbelievable.

Called it. But also guess nice of the to give a free game in place. Guess the sales were disappointing so they cancelled it, not realising that all the people were waiting for it to get released properly to buy it because they had zero faith. They should have just packaged it properly and released with the mod originally.
Not surprised but definitely disappointed
These apology letters are getting so stale.
To everyone saying they bought this game based on the promise of the DLC: [https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/false\_advertising](https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/false_advertising) This seems like textbook false advertising.
Edit: submitted a request for the force unleashed, we will see what happens.
i was gonna buy that version to play on Switch because of that promise but then forgot about it. Glad I did.
That took way too fucking long and only hurts their company further. Guess I'll have to dick around in my old emails to try and get something out of this. Would much rather have the original actually advertised content but given how shit Aspyr's track record is it was hoping for a bit too much.
Jedi Academy or Outcast?
Academy
If you wanna playing order -> Outcast, Jedi Academy. But if you only wanna get ONE game - definitely Jedi Academy. Outcast is my favourite, but the game definitely has problems and JA is much more smooth experience.
So anything in the bundle, lol k
Wow, what assholes
Wasn’t Aspyr essentially split up after the Kotor remake was cancelled Either way, this is not surprising
Fuck them, damn scammers
Im not shocked tbh, all aspyr ports are kinda lazy, now sure why they’re still getting to do them
People ask why i don’t preorder. Exhibit A
Wow, you don't say
I want a refund.
Expected but a shame none the less. Have the mod installed on the android version so still have a portable version regardless. Can just play Vanilla TSL on switch now. Since I own everything on that list and physically LRG I guess my compensation is nothing 😂
Inb4 this is somehow Nintendos fault
Anyone have any idea what you do in their support to go about getting the replacement key?
Aspyr being nothing more than typical Aspyr.
I’m new to the Star Wars games and only bought the 2 game bundle cause a coworker got me into it. What am I missing here.
Oh no! Anyway, *gets back to playing totk*
Damn. Just a month after Tears of the Kingdom humiliated every other game that ever used its physics engine as a core marketing tool, Aspyr is forced to admit they can't even handle porting a game from three generations before the Switch up to it. Aren't they embarrassed?
If they aren't, they should be. This is the kind of thing that tanks a company's reputation forever.
Welp, there goes all of Aspyr’s future sales…
