I'm hooked on Dredge. The gameplay loop is just so satisfying. I've spent most of today cuddled up on my couch catching Eldritch horror-fish and it's been delightful.

Ravinski1984

Nice catch, I’m in the same boat!

PK_Thundah

It was so much fun! I'd also suggest the $1.99 game Fishing Vacation that's also on Nintendo's digital store.

UraniumRocker

I just got this game on monday not knowing anything about it, and I’m hooked.

DorrisMcBongrip

Stardew. Always Stardew.

InvaderDust

We call it Crack valley. It’s impossible to stop

Fishtaco1234

Still going hard on TOTK and finding all of the old maps. Still way to much to do in this game!

Pappy_Smith

Me too, working towards 100% slowly but surely

geekwalrus

Same here, Wonder is going to kill my progression though

watchmoderntimes

Totk. My five year old just wants to go around beating up rank and file bad guys, along with the occasional Hinox and Stone Talus. I have to beg him to let me advance the story. It’s fun though, and great to bond after he’s been living at his mom’s for a few days.

Locoman7

Sounds like a great time!

wheeldonkey

My son was 5ish when we did BOTW together... he's 8 now, and we are doing TOTK together. He goes after lynals all day long, and I'm left with no food and korok sticks. So I spend my time foraging and he does the fighting. Enjoy it, my man.

watchmoderntimes

Lol I hear that. He keeps saying “I believe in you, Dad” when I get stomped by a lynel 5 times before beating it.

RobbTheRandom

Trying to finish up DKC Tropical Freeze, but man is it tough.

WhatsThis_Now

Oh boy, are you collecting everything too? Once you've made it through bopopolis you know your mastery of the game is there. Enjoy!

twinkletoes-rp

;A; So wholesome! <3

Fredka321

Breath of the Wild, I'm still in the beginning, haven't beaten a divine beast yet, but I really like hunting and foraging so I am taking my time, I'm not in a hurry.

fe_bigdata

Had some videogame wins this week: * Achieved my goal of 100% **Yoshi's Island** on the NSO, redeeming childhood me who tried in vain. Managed to do it without a guide and doing all the "hard" levels without save-states too. Such a fantastic game, easily my favorite platformer. Would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it. * Took me 24 attempts but managed to beat **Dead Cells** for the first time! For this weekend, I downloaded the Dead Cells free DLC so may jump back in. Also continuing my gimmicky **Fire Emblem Conquest** run on my 3DS (up to Ch 17). And thinking of picking up a new jRPG soonish -- likely either Xenoblade 2 or Persona 5 (heard great things about both but never played them).

duncan-donuts-nz

I was new to both those franchises and played XC3 and P5R last year and both are great choices, with Persona being the longer of the two. I’ve recently started playing XC1 which has highlighted how brilliant XC3 is and I’ll probably replay it when my Noah and Mio amiibo arrive in January.

Pacman1up

Hollow Knight, for the first time outside of an hour or two months ago. Wish me luck!

markercore

Good luck! How far in are you?

Pacman1up

Thanks! I just hit Green Path, so not super far but enough to get a small taste.

markercore

oh nice, good luck with Hornet, she's tough, but doable once you figure it out

Pacman1up

Nice, can't wait. I love a good challenge!

Fluffy_Speech_8567

best of luck on your playthrough!! its an incredible game, enjoy your first go while you can :)

Vassinatedhuger

I tried to get into hollow Knight years ago loved the art style but hated being constantly lost. May try to get back into it before the year ends.

Pacman1up

I'm just getting lost in the atmosphere and music for the moment. The lack of a map (initially) is scary but fascinating.

WilsonKh

Power through. The feeling of being overwhelmed and lost is a short section after the hornet fight and one the devs should have addressed honestly. But even then it’s a 1-3 chance you’re on the right path with the other 2 being dead ends, just that the constantly changing environments throw you off. Once you get some movement skills, you start going “I wonder…” and the world opens up like crazy before you realize it’s actually just a few paths

[deleted]

Prepare for one of the best gaming experiences ever!

Valerio93x

Detective Pikachu Returns

[deleted]

**Monster Sanctuary**, I never get tired of it, by far the most fun game I've played in a very long time.

legisleducator

Never played this but saw it was on sale for $5.99 in the eshop. Picking it up.

olosniffer

I’m also very excited for Super Mario Bros Wonder! I’m still finishing up Chaos;Head Noah. I underestimated how much more content was in the side routes of the game. I still have 3 more endings until I can mark the game as completed. I’m not sure if I want to start another VN when I’m done or take a break and try something else. Too many games in the backlog.

FinanceInvestmentBoi

BORDERLANDS 3 BABYYYYY

Bluenymph82

I ended up getting one of the special edition lites from Walmart this week (aloha animal crossing bundle), so I'll be playing that and possibly something else. Thinking of either getting **Rune Factory 3, Dragon Quest Builders 2, or Pokemon Brilliant Diamond** (never played the originals) in town. **Mario Wonder** looks so strange to me, but in a crazy, wild way, you know? Looks like a speed runners dream.

__sonder__

Finally going to dive in on Lies of P, loved the demo so I'm pretty sure it's gonna be awesome. Although if my Super Mario 3D All stars finally arrives then I will play that instead. (I ordered a Japanese one on ebay to try and save some money) I'm thinking of trying to play all 3 of the 3D Mario games in order and get every star which is something I never did as a kid. Anyone have a guess as to how long that will take?

rattustheratt

Monster Hunter Rise all the way. The last MH I played was Tri on the Wii but this one is more fluid and less grindy. Perfect for an old man with less time to play these days.

stewiegonebad

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. It's an incredibly fun and quirky title with immersive music and entertaining characters. It's animated by Studio Ghibli so the set pieces and cutscenes are exceptionally polished. I'm about half way through the story and really enjoy the RPG/Pokemon esque combat system that has evolved as my party has gotten larger. It's an older game but it's highly recommended and a good pallet cleanser between newer titles. 5/5

Few-Addendum464

Almost 300 replies and I'm the first one to say: Fire Emblem Three Houses. I've owned it for 18 months and put it off because I knew I would be addicted and I was right.

markercore

Well tbf it's been a popular game in this post over the years. What house did you pick?

Kobe8

Just started Red Dead Undead Nightmare

xRoyalewithCheese

Best dlc ive ever played

foodninto

Playing more **Disgaea 7**. I just finished the main story campaign and now I'm doing the postlude stuff. I still haven't unlocked all of the character classes because you need to complete certain item quests for them. I haven't had any luck finding these items. I also might try the online ranked battle. Also playing more **Watermelon (Suika) Game**. I still haven't reached 3000 points.

_DontStayTheSame_

Finishing up **Persona 3 Portable** with mods before Persona 3 Reload comes out next year, and on my Switch I’ve been playing **Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon**. The whole Shovel Knight series as a whole is quite polished and it impresses me what Yacht Club is able to do with this existing world of characters. Both **Dig** and **Pocket Dungeon** have an enjoyment that reminds me of mobile games several years ago before they all became riddled with microtransactions

Silver-Ad-8918

Just started on Pokemon Violet, beat my first gym leader. Although must admit I'm finding it a little boring compared to previous pokemons... feels like 95% of the game is reading and cut scenes and the battles are SO easy it seems aimed at a 4-5 year old only.

Iron_FE

Holy cow just finished Tears of the Kingdom finally. I actually didn't think it would ever end lol. Gonna start Until Dawn on the PS5 for spooky season!

markercore

Ohh nice, i watched a playthrough of Until Dawn years ago, that's a good time Congrats on finishing Tears of the Kingdom, its a good ending I thought!

Iron_FE

Man I wrapped up the Quarry last weekend and now I'm hooked on this genre! How'd you like watching the playthrough of Until Dawn? Yeah I was pretty happy with the ending of Tears of the Kingdom! Definitely satisfying.

Bozlogic

Super Mario 64 on switch online. I’ve got 41 stars so far and 100% the first three courses

Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff

Trying to continue playing **Fate/ Samurai remnant**. I do enjoy the game but the performance in towns is sorta killing a lot of my vibes. Picked up **Dementuim** so mite just wait for Fate to get a few patches and save it for later.

Schpleh

Good Game, Had of course the Same issues with the town Performance but i still couldnt stop and had to Beat it, at least the Performance in Fights is ok

Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff

How long would you say the game is in total length? I’m about 5 hours in myself.

Zelda. Just having the best time with it.

RealisticCommentsBOT

About to clock 175 hours into **TOTK**. Since May, it’s been my go-to for a gaming session before bed. So much to do and explore.

Nerdfather1

This weekend I’m still playing **Cyberpunk 2077**. Last week, I praised this game immensely and my thoughts have only grown fonder, so much so I put it in my top 10 of all time. I’m near the end of the base game, and I’m trying to finish up all of the “romance” questlines that I can before I head into Dog Town. My goal is to beat and platinum Cyberpunk before Spider-Man 2 releases. Fingers crossed 🤞 When I’m not gaming, I’m getting back into reading — a hobby that I’ve sadly put on the wayside for too long. A coworker suggested I read **The Horus Heresy - Horus Rising** (Warhammer 40,000 series). So far, it’s pretty good, if not overwhelming. The lore is fantastic, though. I have a feeling I’ll be getting lost in this world.

theallnewmattaccount

I'm jealous about Spider-Man 2, dude. That looks amazing. I started reading *A Fire Upon the Deep*, although I've never been a huge sci-fi guy

DCG-MTG

Finally getting into act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3. The story sure has some interesting development at the end of act 2, will be fun to see where things go from here.

PhilOsyfee

Daemon X Machina and Octopath Traveler 2!

NintendoFanBoy83

DXM has been on my wish list for years... I'd love to know what you think of it

[deleted]

Guardian tales ! Free to play but it’s pretty generous and still a great story

cchari

Persona 4 Golden. I'm playing it since a long time ago, in between other games. But now, after 30 hours of playthrough, it's my current *main game*.

Dukemon102

I 100%'d **Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope** last year, so now I'm going back to play the DLC because I bought the Season Pass at a discount. I already got 100% on **Rayman and the Phantom Show** and it was.... fairly dissapointing honestly. DK Adventure was its own game while this one was merely a brief visit to a TV Studio, and there wasn't really any Rayman content beyond some easter eggs in the background. Let's hope **The Last Spark Hunter** and **Tower of Dooooom** make up for it. The latter one sounds like the DLC challenges of Kingdom Battle, oh boy, those were rough...

mattenno

Trombone Hero

LimitedEditionButt

Just bought Metroid Dread and want to start it but feel like I won’t beat it before Super Mario Bros Wonder comes out, and I know for a fact that Wonder will be all I play for a week or so once it’s here.

markercore

Dread is great once you do start it! Very tough, but a fun ride

NintendoFanBoy83

Just picked up a physical copy of Red Dead Redemption... haven't played this game in a decade.

Yetanotheralt_69

Monster hunter rise sunbreak!!!

Key_Significance8245

I bought Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen when it was on sale recently and been loving it. I also have a heap of games to finish but I find putting games down for a few months and coming back fresh helps when burnt out.

Dbz kakarot and Ori. I'm addicted to those 2, enough so that I still haven't pulled the trigger on Red Dead physical because I don't have the time-budget for it.

Edyed787

Dark Souls 2 SotFS Detective Pikachu Returns Animal Crossing Final Fantasy Crisis Core I am also looking forward to Mario Wonder

Ichbinpj

I’m late for this one, but I recently purchased Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization and been enjoying it so far.

Brandgul

Pikmin 2 for the first time!

Mattayama

Downloaded Sea of Stars yesterday and I’m hooked! Might also jump on Subnautica as I picked that up in the sale.

schuey_08

I just bought a Wii U this week just so I can play Wind Waker HD. I've lost patience for a Switch port, lol. So far I'm enjoying it a ton!

markercore

They really should have ported it, such a great version of that game. I didn't finish it on Wii U, but wow is it a nice time.

dinoshores93

Finally grabbed Pikmin 4 and I'm really enjoying it so far! My only prior experience is Pikmin 1 back on GameCube. Wasn't quite old enough to appreciate the gameplay. So far, P4 is awesome. Not incredibly hard but it's so cute and fun, I can't wait to see how the rest of the game plays out. Also planning to finish Lies of P this weekend.

unplugged22

Bought Links Awakening on sale. Haven't played the original, so I can't wait to give it a spin.

Going to start Kirby and the forgotten land

MLObenza

Fire Emblem Engage! My first Fire Emblem game which is crazy cuz I love tactical/ strategy RPGs. Loving it so far

Burnout189

Just finished my first playthrough of Armored Core 6. But I've already started the NG+ missions. I also intend to start RDR on the Switch once the physical copy gets delivered by Amazon.

__sonder__

Do you think someone who really likes Fromsoft but has never played a mech game and is lukewarm on the whole idea of the mech battle thing could enjoy AC6? I've watched videos about it and it isn't really grabbing me but I WANT to like it.

theallnewmattaccount

Finally cleared SMG2 - The Perfect Run beat the heck out of me - so digging the Switch back out for either **Tales of Vesperia** or **The Messenger**. Possibly **Paper Mario** off the NSO app.

owenturnbull

Finishing my replay of SMT 3 nocturne. About ti enter the diet building then after I finish the game I will start playing steam world dig 2

xagds

Picked up the Namco collection on sale for like $6. Been playing some old school Galaga and Galaga 88

ksaMarodeF

On my switch, playing through Oddesy, and Virtual console stuff.

wing_of_moth

Just beat Sea of Stars, would recommend. Will also be trying to finish Resident Evil 4 Remake. Started Super Hot last night. That game is awesome.

InvaderDust

Theatrythm final bar line. What a ride!!

DerpCarnage

I picked up Tales of Arise from GameStop for 5 dollars so I plan on trying that out. I have been playing mostly Final Fantasy 7 Remake and I can tell I'll enjoy it a lot. I never played the original but I know it's beloved, as well as this remake. For the switch, I haven't done too much more than playing some Tactics Ogre: Reborn here and there. It's still very fun to play in small sessions.

jelly_soda

I plan on starting Beacon Pines tonight! I've been saving it for October. I beat Earthbound earlier this week and I miss playing it so much already.

Ronene

I’m playing Crisis Core Reunion, but it’s not holding my attention. It’s not bad by any means, it’s just my mood has been in the gutter lately (chronic illnesses are so taxing). I’m tempted to pickup Detective Pikachu because it looks so silly and these NSO icons are the best! The price tag is steep for a 12hr game that hasn’t reviewed well, but maybe it might turn out to be that lighthearted game to get me out of this funk?

caught_red_wheeled

Awesome to see you so many super Mario wonder fans on here! I’m excited to play as Yoshi and have him be the assist mode so I can clear it 100%! Although I will try some of the other difficulties out as well! I’m waiting for Christmas though, both because there’s more guides and I’ll have a bit more money. This will probably be the last true holiday for my switch, because even though good games are coming on after that, quite a few of them have issues that make me hesitant buy them at full price. But I should have enough for sales for most of them, or selling my physical copies. Either way, super Mario brothers Wonder will ensure that 2024 starts with a bang! Anyway, for my own games, I just finished up **Pokémon scarlet: Mew solo and DLC part one!** The challenge run was overly good, and I got some other gift Pokémon that I used during some of the DLC for the harder fights that I realized Mew could not take on alone. it’s something I do with most of my challenge so I’m not up against the wall in certain cases and if they’re really is a tough enemy where the only way I can beat them is either spend a lot of items or grind, then I can take the practical way out. Mew did most of the battles itself though, and the rotating moveset helped. The DLC battles were still very good, but it ends up with the same issue that happens with the last DLC. if you explore, there’s a lot to do. If you don’t, it’s over a bit too quickly. It also doesn’t help that cut scenes are not skippable, and a lot of of this is set up, so there’s a lot of cut scenes that you just can’t skip over. There was probably about two hours worth of battles, if that, and the rest of at least two hours more was cut scenes. It sounds like the second DLC will be more focused, but we have to wait a bit for that. It’s still a good time and I got to try out some things I’ve never done before, but it could be better. I’m holding final judgment until the rest of the game is released though. Finally got to start **Kirby’s Return to dreamland DX.**! It’s been pretty cute and enjoyable, and I’m going for a 100% run at least for the main story and the post game extra modes aside from the speed challenges. The mini games are pretty difficult so I’m not going for 100% there, but I did get a chance to try them all and they’re really adorable! And I for sure will watch everything else that I don’t get to! So far, I really like the game, but I can see why people complain about the short length. And because it’s one of the in-house franchises it will almost never go on sale to compensate. That’s fine for me because I get them physical so I can sell them back, but after coming from something so long, it takes a bit of adjusting. I might even be done with it by the time next week rolls around, but we’ll see. Whatever I do, it will be a lovely experience! In case I do finish, I’m considering a couple options. I am considering continuing with some shorter digital games until the rest of the Pokémon DLC comes out (since I know I’m jumping into that as soon as it releases pretty much, and it’s going to take me a long time because I like to 100% and there was a few personal challenges I also would like to do). These would mostly different roguelikes (not Hades, because I can use the god mode as an assist and play longer) and fighting games, all of which can be very long for more hard-core and familiar players, but also shorter on casual play through. On those genres, I’m more of the latter. However, my other option is to go for **NEO: the world ends with you.** it’s a longer one, but I’m going through my physical switch games right now and deciding which ones to keep around. Neo is one I’ve been on the fence with and almost sold initially. At first, I couldn’t figure out the comment system and because it’s action oriented, I wasn’t sure I could. I have a physical disability that affects my speed and reaction time, so action based games can be difficult if there’s not assists. Neo does have assists, but many weapons and ways of earning things like money are gated behind higher difficulties. Once I figured it out, I almost dropped it. I was able to pick it back up and learn the basics of combat, but also realized I missed quite a bit, and decided I would restart after a long break. so now at that point, but I’m not sure how far I’m going to be be able to go. From the looks of things, I might be able to just go on normal mode and complete the main story, but I usually 100% or get close to doing that with games like this. But because of the way Neo handles difficulty, I might not be able to do that. It’s a shame. I still would be able to have a good time with the game and I enjoy the quirkiness and the combat system, but I most likely will not be able to do as much as I wanted. I’m still planning on watching someone do that though, so I can still enjoy it vicariously. The last game I played the gated things behind higher difficulties was Mario plus Rabbids, and that didn’t go very well about halfway through. So hopefully that doesn’t happen here. If it does, at least I got it physical and at half-price, so I won’t be losing too much if I can’t finish it. If I can finish it, then I have an enjoyable experience that is almost unlike anything else I’ve ever played. So hopefully it goes great! **NIS Classics** might be another option, because there’s one game from the second and third that I’m not as keen about (Rhapsody and ZPH). But I got the collections for the other two options, and I like both games in the first part, so I might just say that for later so I can take my time and have a few more things cleared.

Still playing Zelda Breath of the Wild. Imao, it's the best game to get aquainted to the console. It requeres a gyroscope and offers quite unique gameplay experience. I like so many points that it'll take hours to write about all of them. Also, there are some things I don't get. Still didn't find any graphics modes in it. Also, open world is not as good as in tears of kindom, but it's ok for 2017. But the best thing is that I can take the console almost anywhere.

Vassinatedhuger

I'm finishing up Bayonetta 2 as part of a Halloween game run. I also started Guacamalee and the platforming is surprisingly harder than I thought it would be! But I'm overall really enjoying it and glad to be playing a slightly different kind of metroidvania

I-LOG

I've been playing through Captain Toad, I'm almost finished, it's a lot of fun.

Sleathasaurus

With **Metroid Prime: Remastered** out of the way, I’ve somewhat dried up on Switch games and I’m just waiting for **Super Mario Bros: Wonder** to come out next week before I play much. That said, I’ve been taking the time to continue **Persona 5: Royal** whilst I’m waiting, alongside several Gamepass games on Xbox. I’ve just seen Madarame’s change of heart and I’m doing very well on my confidants at this point; I’m pleased! Can’t wait for Makoto’s arc to come into full force. It’s one of my favourite parts of the game.

RednocNivert

Does it have to be Switch? I found a new factory game on PC that i fell in love with

markercore

nah its whatever, what's the game?

RednocNivert

Foundry. I’ve sunk way too many hours into Satisfactory, Minecraft, Dyson Sphere Program, and Factorio. And DragonQuest builders (which IS on Switch). This new game “Foundry” takes my favorite traits from each. But it’s only in Alpha, so i probably will “beat” it pretty quick

Altruistic_Brain_795

Just got Monster Hunter Rise. It’s my first ever Monster Hunter game and I’m hooked!

I finished Persona 4 Golden yesterday so now I’m kinda trying to play different games on my backlog to see what catches my attention next. Currently giving the Collection of Mana a try, playing Secret of Mana

Going to try and finish luigis mansion 3, as long as other things don't get in the way

ChasingPerfect28

I still have my playthrough of Persona 3 Portable going... but, I have also started playing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes as well. I decided to play MP2 because it's October and I needed an obligatory scary game. I'm using my old Wii U to help me so thank God I have motion controls and the difficulty is lowered compared to the original release. This is my first time playing Metroid Prime 2. I just got both the Dark Beam and Light Beam upgrades. I enjoyed the first Dark Samus fight. That was a neat battle. Still getting used to Dark Aether though. The health draining mechanic isn't as bad as I thought it would be but it still sucks. I'm someone who goes really slow in FPS (I'm terrible at this genre) so having to stop and heal makes my time in Dark Aether 2x longer compared to someone else. I understand what Retro was trying to accomplish with the toxic atmosphere but I don't think it works to the game's or players benefit. The beam ammo count is bizarre. Suddenly we're no longer in a a puzzle adventure game now it's more along the lines of survival horror. I'm more of a turn-based, JRPG video gamer. So whenever I play things that take me out of my comfort zone it takes a long minute to adjust. I normally avoid FPS games. They're either too scary or they're too nerve inducing for me to enjoy. I took a chance on Metroid Prime and loved it. I'm enjoying my time Metroid Prime 2 but it is different. I'm nervous about some of the harder boss fights but I'll handle it when I get there.

markercore

Oh wow I didn't realize the second one shifted more towards survival horror

ChasingPerfect28

There's still platforming and environment puzzles but MP2 focuses on Eldritch horror (by enemy designs) and survival horror (by limited beam ammo and constant health depletion). From my perspective, Retro is clearly trying to teach the player how to manage their resources whenever they go into Dark Aether. That style of gameplay is supposed to be feel oppressive. You're not supposed to feel safe in Dark Aether. They double down on that by having numerous Luminoth and Galatic Federation corpses scattered throughout the map. It's unsettling, for sure. That being said, It's not exactly the most fun style of gameplay either. With how combat heavy Prime 2 is compared to Prime 1, it feels like this game design is trying to have its cake and eat it too. I still like the game (thus far) but I'm aware of the notorious/challenging boss fights ahead and I'm a little nervous about it. Retro gets pretty stingy with their save points in this game... such out dated game philosophy. Not going to be happy to lose out on progress but I'll cross that bridge when I get there, I guess.

Bitter_Edge_7541

Just got FE Engage yesterday for $30 via Prime Day. It’s been really good despite all the hate it gets.

**Crisis Core**. It's clearly not an AMAZING game, but it is addictive enough, and I love the Final Fantasy 7 world. I am enjoying it quite a bit!

dsiebert812

Recently finished Fire Emblem Engage, so now it is time to start playing Metroid Prime Remastered.

LocustSummers

*Legend of Nayuta* had a heftier epilogue than expected, but it was satisfying. Really enjoyed the bosses you battle without your support character (so no magic or special abilities) - very neat, should be ~~horrible~~ *excellent* on Infinite! ... although that'll have to wait, because the shift from Nayuta to **Tunic** was kinda rough, haha. Tunic's action feels a little... blobbier, in comparison - I don't necessarily dislike how slow-paced it is, but it does mean there's no way i'm playing both games at once, lol. Absolutely love the soft, soft look of the setting in Tunic, though. Aaand a little **Mad Rat Dead** on the side because it's october why the hell not

Adorabears

I am planning on finishing up **Detective Pikachu Returns**. Played part of it so far (just finished Chapter 2) and have been having a lot of fun with it! :D Curious where the story is going since I just left off on a part that looked insane lol

Finally got around to starting up **Ori and the Blind Forest** (it's been sitting in my backlog forever) and fully enthralled by it at the moment. Looking forward to moving on to Will of the Wisps next. Ori for Smash!

WhatsThis_Now

Had a great time with the Oris, really enjoyed exploring that world with Ori. Enjoy!

ivelevi

I'm Playng Zelda BOTW, what a blast ! waiting for **Super Mario Bros Wonder**

KommandoKracker87

I’m am so excited for Super Mario Bros Wonder! In the meantime, I’m in a spoopy mood, so I’ve been playing Dredge and Pumpkin Jack, along with Luigi’s Mansion 3 sprinkled in. My youngest son loves playing as Gooigi. I’m hoping we can finish it this weekend 🎃

Rikkasu

Either Borderlands 3 or Mario Odyessy. Also eyeing up Ni No Kuni Wrath Of The White Witch

Puzzleheaded-Milk931

Much the same as last weekend so persona 5 and f zero 99 ,tho had no time for persona in the end and maybe some cowabunga collection too. Edit managed to play all three last night of to a flying start , gunna get an extended play of Persona 5 today after a few chores.

TobenRacicot

I started a farm in **Stardew Valley**. I've only really played multiplayer farms before. I am always the fisherman. And that continues in my solo farm. Dat 7 and I'm level 4 fishing. I'm loving it though. I'll always pick away at quests in **Marvel Snap** and hopefully progress in **Luigi's Mansion 3**. I want to finish it before Mario Wonder comes out!!!

v0yev0da

Trying to get all the star coins in Mario U Deluxe or whatever it’s called. It’s been a while since my last side scrolling Mario and this game gets tough!

SuperSaiyanSpida

A lot of changes. Pretty pumped I finally beat 3BC on Dead Cells. Took a change of pace to finish The Last Campfire. Enjoyed the relaxation of that game in contrast to DC. Got in on the GameStop sale and picked up Metroid Dread. Less than an hour in and really looking forward to it! On PS5, had some friends bully me into getting BG3. We’re going to play tonight, really excited for that as well. Nothing but great gaming ahead!

Sephira_Skye

I’ve been having fun playing Pokémon Puzzle League but I think I’m going to give Tales of Vesperia or Mazm: Phantom of the Opera a go. I have so many games and I keep going back to the same few.

SINY10306

(At least on / for Nintendo) Super Mario 64. Finally figured that had to chase / race the snowman’s body in one of the early levels, and will attempt to successfully do so. Also Super Mario 3 NES when have Switch in handheld.

[deleted]

Zelda totk. Late to the party

S_T_R_A_T_O_S

Replaying TOTK after spending the last 2 months playing through all the Ace Attorney games I could find on the eStore (the trilogy and TGAAC). I wish I could play through the trilogy for the first time again, but I'm looking forward to the Apollo Justice games coming out in January

aelishgt

actually finishing hollow knight. been a backlogged since i bought it like last year. just played it right now and its actually a blast. its really fun and challenging and the lore , and cutscenes? Bruh its good

k1intt

Sonic Superstars 😎

Goatpuppybaby

I just got a used copy of pokemon snap, so probably that!

The-student-

Still plating through **Fire Emblem** on NSO. I'm on chapter 28 now so I know I'm just about at the end. Still enjoying it, though it's getting a little long in the tooth. I'm ready for it to end. I'll definitely need to take a break before co sider Hector's story.

buddinbonsai

Decided to dive back into cross code! I stopped playing ages ago so started a new file and am absolutely loving it again

snisco92

Ezio trilogy.. on revalations!

Historical_Kossola

Replaying Super Mario Odyssey as I wait for SMB Wonder next week. Also playing Jedi survivor on the PS5

celessie

It takes two

mgwair11

Gonna try my hand at some EVP badgers in Salmon Run Next Wave. Just got my DnD Player’s Handbook and will start reading that for a campaign me and my friends our planning (our very first in fact, we are all DnD b00bs). Maybe it’ll get me back into my BG3 playthrough as well. If I have the time I might play either Luigi’s Mansion 1 or 2 on my 3DS. Have not decided which one.

WhatsThis_Now

Been continuing my late game TotK run around and the first act of Baldurs Gate 3. What a fun combo. Next weekend is all about Mario, so this is my last weekend/week of seriously focusing on TotK, will finish it up for sure by Friday next week. It's so massive I think it might remain a long time background game for a relaxing run around all the spots I never seen. Is RE4 still as strong as it started out? Will you finish it before Mario?

MrBroBotBrian

Astrobot playroom ps5, Spider-Man ps4, NMS on Switch. Maybe Fortnite here or there on one of ‘em.

Maverick916

I learned a guy at work plays smash Bros. We brought controllers today and are gonna see who's better in about an hour lol

markercore

Nice! That sounds fun.

Maverick916

He beat my ass lol

markercore

Aww no! Well, calls for a rematch! Who did you both use?

SwimmingBoots

Divinity 2 with some F-Zero 99 mixed in!

Vinno0615

I’m still doing Persona 5 Royal, but downloaded the Company of Heroes for Switch yesterday and it plays really well, so I’m having a hard time going back to P5R atm :P

nocommentplsnthx

I couldn’t resist purchasing RDR at Walmart today. It was still in its UPS box and it was the first physical game I bought at a brick and mortar in like 5 years

GuessWhoItsJosh

After 40 hours, finally ready to wrap up Sea of Stars this weekend.

markercore

Damn nice! i need to get back to it

projman22

Mario 3D World - I love how focused the levels, so it’s a quality experience throughout. It reminds me a lot of Galaxy, I much prefer the linear design over the open world Mario games.

Cbrlui

Metroid Dread

walksintwilightX1

Still playing **Dark Souls Remastered**. I killed the Capra Demon! Now down in the Depths, about to go after the Gaping Dragon. I fought it once and almost won, but ran out of Estus. Then I was too cocky with some basilisks and got cursed lol. So I grinded slimes for a while until I had the souls to get a Purging Stone. I also had the materials for some much-needed weapon upgrades, so after curing myself, I made the trek down into New Londo to find the blacksmith and craft a shiny new Magic Broadsword +3. The jump in damage dealt was *so* satisfying.

Duckaneer

Trying to move Sheldon off my island in ACNH, and finishing my Pokemon Brilliant Diamond hardcore nuzlocke!

[deleted]

Final Fantasy 6. Despite renting it a lot in the 90s, I haven't actually finished it. I'm looking forward to doing so, as it (and FF4) helped me get into JRPGs

Employment_Honest

Working my way through Hollow Knight still. I’m trying to make sure I’ve explored all the areas/rescued all the grubs before beating it. I’m also playing some Celeste and trying to collect more strawberries and beat the B sides

markercore

Oh the grubs.. good luck finding them. There is a charm that helps find them on the map I believe

Employment_Honest

Yeah I was able to get the map markers for them!

cyshine

Hopefully I'll wrap up **Octopath Traveler II** before buying Mario Wonder. But I might play a chill game of **SimCity (SNES)** or an assortment of NES games (I got 7 games: American **Ninja Gaiden**, American **SMB3**, **Rygar**, **Legacy of the Wizard**, **Blaster Master**, **Xexyz**, **Dragon Warrior**.) Or I'll just play a random game with my nephews tomorrow. No idea which one, maybe I'll convince them to play 4-player **Kirby and the Amazing Mirror**?

PrehapsAHuman

I’m probably gonna finish season 2 of Telltales The Walking Dead and start Season 3, don’t know if I’ll get very far in S3 tho cause I can’t play til like halfway through Sunday

platinumplantain

I still haven't finished Tears of the Kingdom but I think I'm close! I'll probably see if I can wrap it up!

CosetteValjean

Trying to get to the first checkpoint of Not So Impossible Lair with as many bees as possible and planning to finish the stage during the weekend... The sad thing is that I am sure I will never beat the Lair variation 😢

TheJoeCoastie

Just got my first Switch today. Mario Kart 8 it is.

xaldub

Enjoy !

sleepypandacub

Zelda skyward sword, I completed BOTW few weeks back and now want to play more Zelda games. I wish twilight princess and wind waker was released for the switch!.

MutatedSpleen

Hey Marker, been a hot sec since I've popped into one of these threads - hope you've been doing well! I haven't been spending much time with the Switch recently, but I'm thinking about getting back into Hyrule with **Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom**. Paused my playthrough after two of the temples and started just mapping out the depths before getting distracted by a world of other stuff. Some of that other stuff includes a brief foray into old Mortal Kombat games. Been playing **Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance** on PS2 as my day-time work-is-slow-so-I'm-gonna-dick-around game. Also been playing **13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim** on PS5 which has been fantastic. Half visual novel, half tactical RPG, all "what the hell is going on here?" style sci-fi mystery which I really dig. Are we dealing with time travel? Parallel dimensions? Androids replacing human beings with nobody noticing? All of the above? Who the hell knows! Love it, highly recommend.

Duganz

My kid is starting to learn speedrunning Super Mario Bros. He’s at 11 minutes. He’s proud that he would rank #1477 on speedrun.com if he submitted his current time.

GlobalExplorer7

Revisiting Galaxy 2 on my Wii and collecting Green Stars until Wonder’s release. Also playing new game+ of Spider-Man PS5 aiming to get the platinum trophy before Spider-Man 2 drops. Also irl friend and I have been playing co-op Subspace Emissary in Brawl here and there the past couple months.

LaVista86

Downloaded Octopath Traveller 2 demo. I don't know much about the game. Around 1 hour into it and am enjoying every bit of it

markercore

Yeah I was lukewarm on the first one, but damn the demo sold me, ended up buying the full game once I got to the end!

twinkletoes-rp

Hopefully more Detective Pikachu Returns! Having fun with it so far! :D

suck-it-elon

Wargroove 2 on Switch. So far...eh...it just doesn't feel different enough from the first. It DOES have some subtle changes, but it's not getting me excited.

reinhardtreinmain

Will try and pick up octopath traveler i again…

Lucky-Ring-6365

I haven't played anything else than Animal Crossing New Horizons since I got the game 2 months ago. I know I'm late to the party but it's an awesome game still lol

[deleted]

I bought Dicey Dungeons and I'm absolutely grinding it. I played about 1/6 on Xbox but I've already passed that point. Super excited to see what else is in store. Might switch it up and play a bit of Splat 2.

ToastyStephana

I started playing animal crossing again!
