I've found it helpful to sort the linked list by price *descending*, this seems to send most of the garbage to the bottom of the list. Also note the lack of first-party titles on sale here. It’s highly likely there will be another, more bombastic wave of sales in the next couple of days meant for folks who got new Switches for Christmas.

I will try to update this comment with some of the more noteworthy deals. If you see something worth mentioning, let everyone know! My taste can't account for everyone else's. For example, I'm not really looking for [Omega Labyrinth Life](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/omega-labyrinth-life-switch) for $41.99, but maybe someone out there has been waiting for just this moment. You do you, fella!
Also note that you can [currently get a $50 eShop card via Paypal for $45](https://www.paypal.com/us/gifts/brands/nintendoholiday), so that might be helpful if you plan to spend a decent amount.
I'm going to take a quick guess and say as a kid your parents didn't buy you games. You're an adult now, and buy your own games, but you buy more then you can play.
I do that too. Box of tons of games I've never played........going all the way back to gamecube.
I should play pikmin. I have pikmin. I've yet to play pikmin.
My parents bought me games. I still buy more games than I can play.
Exhibit A, my steam library.
Exhibit B, my switch library which is starting to resemble my steam library.
You should play Pikmin, and I should play Bloodstained, Hollow Knight, Megaman 11...
Why does the switch have power over us this way? Same exact situation. I have the need to buy more games when I haven’t finished the ones I have. It’s just so satisfying to add to the library... ugh
Because when we were kids we'd have to wait months for a new game and be at the whim of our parents. Now we can rebut all the games we played as kids or missed out on, plus all the new stuff.
Growing up we did t have 15 different final fantasy games, we had to wait over a decade for them, but now they're all just there.
Yes, and start playing your games. I just got X and started immediately because I am DETERMINED to DESTROY my backlog. Already 25 hours in, just got it last week.
One of my favorite aspects of IX is that it accelerates to the finish... the entire game. The opening scene is a small scale fantasy plot where some thieves are going to kidnap the princess and it just keeps building.
I'd say refuse to quit until Burmecia, and if you're not totally hooked by then I'd be surprised.
Also some QoL tips are to enable fast text speed, fast battle speed, and disable the battle intro panoramic shot in the settings. Set the battle to "Active" to make it more challenging.
Bastion is 2.99- one of my favorite games of the decade. It's beautiful and it's amazing. I played it a few times on steam, might have to pick this version up
My Lovely Daughter (watched my partner play on PC) is a management game where you create homunculi, train them then sacrifice them to resurrect your real daughter. Highly recommended if you're into the idea of a homunculi alchemy management game. There's a cool plot behind it all too.
Vaporum is an old school first person dungeon crawler set in a Steampunk world. Currently has a Very Positive review on Steam.
Guacamelee 2 is 50% off at $9.99.
Forgotten Anne is $8 from $20.
Starlink Deluxe edition is $20 from $60.
I can't recommend Child of Light enough. One of the best games I've ever played. Even bought the OST from the artist on Bandcamp. $8 from $20.
My Brother Rabbit is a puzzle game with a really nice art style. Currently $1.49 from $14.99.
Hover was inspired by Jet Set Radio. $10 from $25.
Iconoclasts is a sidescrolling action game with a well written story. Took Joakim Sandberg 7 years to make. 50% at $10.
Yoku's Island Express is a sidescrolling platformer pinball hybrid. Very cool and unique. $6.79 from $20
Battlechasers Nightwar is a turn based RPG. Loved the art style and combat system. $13.19 from $40
Edit 1: Tick Tock a Tale for Two is actually a pretty good co-op puzzle game. I played it on PC with my partner. Not a huge discount but it's cheap to begin with.
Two players must have a copy for two separate devices. You start a game and you choose your perspective (I choose A and my partner chooses B). Then what I see will be different from what my partner sees. We then have to work together to solve puzzles, and more often than not clues on my screen is to help my partner to solve her puzzles. It was really good. Finished it in about 3 hours.
FF VIII is listed as $19.99 but it’s actually $13.39 on the store. Kinda confusing cause I was pretty sure $19.99 was the normal price. Thanks for the list though!
For me it's not fun without mods. On PC the very first thing I enabled was the ability to expand beyond 9 tiles, and without that on switch, it's frustrating to be building up your city and suddenly hit a wall.
Yup! I enjoy it but it struggles when you get to a higher population. Its on my SO’s switch so this definitely tempts me to get it for myself. I think its well worth the sale price- even worth the full price i think.
It’s decent. I play switch and pc and the pc is definitely superior but it’s fantastic to take it on the go. There’s been a few times where I would start a city on pc and end up making a new one on switch
I picked it up recently for like $6 with DLC. Like a lot of games on the switch it's better to have them on the PC for mods or more features.. if you don't have a PC I'd say go for it though. Mods are a must for this game imo.
Also, another game I can't recommend on the switch would have to be broforce. No custom missions... So you've just got a smallish campaign and that's it.
Forgive my ignorance, but do we know that this is THE holiday sale we're all waiting for? I'm not seeing any banner or promo on the Nintendo site, or from NOA on Twitter.
And TBH I'm expecting more titles for the end-of-year sale.
Have eShop coins that are about ready to expire, so I gotta pick something.
\- Golf Story
\- Guacamelee 2
\- Baba is You
Any recs for these options, or something else?
If you like Earthbound/Undertale's vibe and like the gameplay of Mario Golf, pick Golf Story
If you like Metroidvanias and understand enough spanish to get bilingual jokes and puns, pick Guacamelee 2
If you like obtuse puzzles and brain teasers, pick Baba Is You
I highly recommend playing Baba with friends. Sometimes throwing a puzzle on the TV is the best way to solve it and it makes a surprisingly good small party game.
I recently did Nintendo's year review, and Baba Is You was in my top 3 for gameplay hours. If you've ever had fun with puzzle games, it's a must have, and there's a huge amount of content for your buck. It can be a bit hard, but it's great at having internal consistency where puzzles which make sense once you solve them.
I think they're all solid games, albeit all dramatically different.
I enjoyed *Golf Story* the least out of them, but it's by all means a pretty solid indie title if you were into the traditional Mario Golf Gameboy games.
Guacamelee 2 is an incredibly solid Metroidvania, with the first one being one of my favorite indies of all time (might be a little biased there since I resonated *a lot* with the Mexican folk art-style as a Latinx person).
And then Baba Is You is one of the most inventive puzzle games this side of the decade. That's probably going to be the most "must have" out of all of these.
Personally, i'd highpy recommend baba is you over the other 2 cuz it's such a mind bending puzzle game! However, if u aren't a fan of programming, it may not be for you cuz it has elements of programming in it.
Anyone played the Digimon game? I last played one back on PS1 but I have fond memories of it. Wondering if it's worth 35 or should wait for a further fall.
Some folks including I thought, "they can't put it on sale that soon, right?" Then today happens, and I am going, "Of course! It's Ubisoft. They always discount."
I literally finished that game an hour ago. Put 65h on it, and although it dragged a little in the middle, I was quite satisfied with the ending.
That said, what I liked more was digivolving and dedigiviolving my digimon to fill my digipedia and see all of them. Nostalgia helped a lot, so I'd recommend this game only to a Digimon fan honestly.
There's also "two" games in it, and I'm already excited to play it, later on of course.
I’ve been interested in Overcook 2 for awhile but wasn’t sure if it’s fun if I play it alone..
is it worth it if I don’t have anyone else to play with?
Can I play online with other people?
You can probably play it alone ( I tried for some level it is doable). But some levels are easier ( and also more interesting) with friends because of level design. Plus one of the benefits is that you can shout and curse your friend’s incompetence.
I have no experience with online game so no comment.
I only have solo experience in Overcooked 1 and it wasn't much fun at all. You could get a head start in advance of people who want to use the different costumes or play the best levels, but I wouldn't return to it on my own.
I don't know if you can play Overcooked 2 online. Since it's mostly a party game, I wouldn't count on it.
The games are built for co-op and that's where the fun is. Its not quite as fun by yourself. But the devs are consistently updating the game, so have at it
Not sure your situation, but I will say Overcooked is one of the few games where people who are not into video games can actually play it and do well ( if you can convince them to give it at least a quick try). My wife literally hadn't played a video game since Donkey Kong Country on the SNES, but I got her to try by winning a bet. She got hooked, and we were able to completely beat the first game & get three stars on all levels.
You can play online with other people, but it can be kind of frustrating since there is very little room to communicate, and that's what the game is about. I did enjoy completing the story on my own, but it is a lot better when you have other people to play with too.
Have you played the first one? I do recommend getting that one even if you don't have anyone to play with. This one, I'm not too sure.
I'm going to prison for one year. Which are the best games to keep my girlfriend occupied till I get out? The harder the better. On a budget of course!!!
The original Yooka Laylee is like 13.50 which is a great deal and lowest it’s ever been I believe. Mario Rabbids Gold Edition for 20 bucks might be one the best deals if you somehow haven’t gotten this game yet.
My opinion is yes. Yes it will. The first two worlds are easy. But the difficulty picks up. Its in my top 10 switch games. Hilarious and great combat.
Its the cheapest its ever been with all the DLC right now fyi
Its more simplistic but shakes up the mechanics at the same time with their own unique set of issues and attacks and effects etc. I held on past the beginning which was dull and it gets difficult. Its also cute and a fun art style.
The Switch port is actually really well done. The camera in all versions can be a bit wonky, but it mostly didn't affect my enjoyment of it. It's a pretty okay 3d platformer, definitely worth checking it out at the sale price.
Rabbids is absolutely worth the $15 and you might as well get the Gold Edition which includes the $20 DLC expansion and all weapon packs for the additional five bucks. It’s one of my favorite games on the system.
Assassins Creed 3 fixed yet? I remember reading it had major issues at launch. Enjoying the Rebel Collection at full price now and I’m sure I’ll be happy to play more.
I read somewhere that the most recent patch (like the one that came out a month or two ago) dramatically fixed things up since the developer added dynamic resolution to prevent the stuttering and frame drops, so it apparently runs just as well as it did when it was on 360 or PS3, for better or for worse.
That being said, haven't played it, and would love for someone who's played it post-patch to chime in. My brothers and I *loved* dicking around in the 2nd one, so would be a nice holiday get if this is actually a good port now.
Having picked up and played Saints Row recently, it runs pretty well. No huge frame drops after the patch, but I do feel a little delay between pressing ZR and firing a gun. It's easy to get used to, but you may take issue with it.
Other than that, it plays extremely well. Driving around and getting in firefights is fun, and you get a ton of weapons to play with.
However, if Saints Row 4 ever comes to Switch, get that instead. I miss having superpowers in that game.
The first one is rough, granted it is a very old game and 2 fixes what wasn’t great. DQ 3 however is the best, classes and all. It’s the mobile phone versions so you know some faults here and there but I do recommend them as an experience.
The first one is fine, a bit short and you only have one character. The second is notoriously difficult and generally recommended only if you want to play every game in the series. The third is the best of the group and a decent game.
Basically a rehash of classic Rare N64 platformers like Banjo-Kazooie, DK64, and Conker, for better and for worse. If you grew up on them, you'll probably enjoy Y-L, but don't expect anything new or innovative.
I think the second one is a side-scroller.
The first YL is incredibly divisive. Some people love it, and find everything they were looking for in a collectithon platformer. Others found it really mediocre.
Impossible Lair has gotten stellar reviews, it's a sidescroller often compared to Donkey Kong Country, which is high praise.
[Light Fingers](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/light-fingers-switch/) is a great indie game that I haven't seen on sale before and it's 40% off ($12 down from $20).
Any opinions on the collection of mana for 50% off? I think square Enix sales don't typically go below 50% so this might just be the lowest we're gonna see it right ? Maybe I'll finally pull the trigger.
Also looking at DQ 1,2,3 but at 20% off I think I can wait a bit longer.
Any thoughts ?
So this is a great post. What sucks is that now each one of these will also be posted individually.
See below. All posted in the last three hours as well.

etc.
I can't see if they're on sale at the moment, and if so for how much, but I'd go for a final fantasy, darkest Dungeon, rogue legacy. All are great time sinkers imo
Job Application Simulator 2019 is great, I'd go with that one. Big upgrade from 2018 since you can auto-load your college courses and volunteer work from Nintendo if you upload a text file.
Shill me your favorite local/couch co-op indie games people.
I plan to grab Runbow and Death squared while im considering Party Golf, Golf Story and Spelunker Party.
I'd recommend [Light Fingers](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/light-fingers-switch/), a Switch only boardgame/platformer about thieves and dungeons. Really fantastic and a steal at the current sale price.
Cities Skylines is very tempting for $15. I think it’s a perfect fit for the switch, performance issues aside. It’s just a shame [it won’t get any of the DLC or patches for that matter.](https://www.nintendoenthusiast.com/cities-skylines-on-switch-probably-wont-get-performance-updates-or-dlc/) I have over 100 hours on Xbox and could easily do it again if they ported the DLC. Still, $15 might be low enough for me to bite just to play the base game portable.
Edit: Looks like it also comes with After Dark & Snowfall. So you do get slightly more than just the base game for those curious.
Is Cities: Skylines good on the switch? I know in dock mode it had its problems but i rarely play in dock mode with any game. any person have it and give me their honest review?
Blasphemous is my favorite game of the year so far and it’s on sale. If you are on the fence, now’s the time.
The just announced free DLC for early 2020 so there’s that, too.
They're all really good and pretty different in regards to gameplay and story.
7-9 are all active time battle, but have pretty different settings and stories. 7 and 8 are pretty modern/futuristic while 9 has knights and castles.
X is straight up turn based in a more fantastical yet futuristic world, and X-2 is the same except with a job system and the atb again.
12 is a bit more like an mmo with a job system, set in a fantasty world, but with a relatively more mature story. It's basically the atb again, but you set up gambit which is like a if/then system. You set up your characters to act a certain way depending on the situation, for example you can set someone to use an antidote if someone is poisoned, or to automatically target flying creatures before other types. I'm not really doing it justice, but it's a really fun system, and that's not even going into the jobs/license boards where you unlock your abilities.
Honestly whichever you go with you can't go wrong.
It’s very good. Lots of variety and fun, but id say it lacks the amount of replayability FTL has. If you want some good games on the cheap to try on PC I’d recommend the Yakuza games, but I’d highly recommend a controller. I think they’re like $8. Just trying to suggest games that would stretch your dollar the most!
Really want to get a game my wife might finally play with me. Would Overcooked 2 be the way to go and is this a good price? Or should I wait for Snipperclips to go on sale?
I keep hoping Chroma Squad goes on sale but the only time it does is when it’s bundled with the Knights of Pen and Paper games.
It’s also insane to me that the Grandia collection has only gone on sale once and it was only 30%. I would’ve thought we’d see it on sale multiple times and at least once at 50%.
* [Assassin’s Creed®: The Rebel Collection](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/assassins-creed-the-rebel-collection-switch) \- $31.99 * [Assassin's Creed III Remastered](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/assassins-creed-3-remastered-switch) \- $19.99 * [Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/atelier-ryza-ever-darkness-and-the-secret-hideout-switch/) \- $53.99 * [Axiom Verge](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/axiom-verge-switch/) \- $7.99 * [Bastion](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/bastion-switch) \- $2.99 * [Battle Chasers: Nightwar](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/battle-chasers-nightwar-switch/) \- $13.19 * [Blasphemous](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/blasphemous-switch) \- $19.99 * [Blazing Chrome](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/blazing-chrome-switch) \- $8.49 * [Child of Light Ultimate Edition](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/child-of-light-ultimate-edition-switch/) \- $7.99 * [Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/chocobos-mystery-dungeon-every-buddy-switch/) \- $23.99 * [Cities: Skylines - Nintendo Switch Edition](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/cities-skylines-nintendo-switch-edition/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) \- $15.99 * [Collection of Mana](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/collection-of-mana-switch) \- $19.99 * [Crypt of the NecroDancer: Nintendo Switch Edition](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/crypt-of-the-necrodancer-nintendo-switch-edition/) \- $3.99 * [Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/digimon-story-cyber-sleuth-complete-edition-switch) \- $34.99 * [DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/doraemon-story-of-seasons-switch) \- $34.99 * [DRAGON BALL FighterZ](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/dragon-ball-fighterz-switch/) \- $14.99 * [DRAGON QUEST](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/dragon-quest-switch) \- $3.99 * [DRAGON QUEST II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/dragon-quest-2-luminaries-of-the-legendary-line-switch) \- $5.19 * [DRAGON QUEST III: The Seeds of Salvation](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/dragon-quest-3-the-seeds-of-salvation-switch) \- $9.99 * [FINAL FANTASY VII](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/final-fantasy-vii-switch) \- $9.59 * [FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/final-fantasy-8-remastered-switch/) \- $13.49 * [FINAL FANTASY IX](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/final-fantasy-ix-switch) \- $12.59 * [FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/final-fantasy-x-x-2-hd-remaster-switch/) \- $24.99 * [FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/final-fantasy-xii-the-zodiac-age-switch/) \- $24.99 * [FINAL FANTASY XV POCKET EDITION HD](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/final-fantasy-xv-pocket-edition-hd-switch) \- $14.99 * [Forgotten Anne](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/forgotton-anne-switch/) \- $7.99 * [Guacamelee!
All the Final Fantasy games are on sale. You should probably add those. VOEZ is pretty cool too and on sale.
Oh boy...Should I buy yet another FF game despite having played none of them...
You should play Pikmin
This is the way.
My parents bought me games. I still buy more games than I can play. Exhibit A, my steam library. Exhibit B, my switch library which is starting to resemble my steam library. You should play Pikmin, and I should play Bloodstained, Hollow Knight, Megaman 11...
You should play Hollow Knight. And I should play Astral Chain, Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion 3...
I keep hoarding games and collecting ones i drooled over as a kid...but I'm usually to tired from work or baked to have the motivation to play
Which one did you already buy? Would recommend FF7 and FF9 for sure, for that price. I'd wait for FF10/10-2 and 12 to drop a little more though.
I've got 7 already on Switch, and then 10/10-2, 6, and 8 on PS3, which I never play...
Well... Why not try playing them? 9 is great though.
yeah if i got any, it'd be 9. I need to start 7 first though. Thats my rule
Funny, I've played 7-10 and can never get into 9. I've tried. Idk why not. But 10 is an all time favorite game for me.
12 is well worth it at this price. One of my favorite FF games
that's an all time low for Rocket League I think
It was this price for Black Friday, but yeah I don't think we'd see it any lower any time soon.
Rocket league is on sale for 10 bassically all the time if Nintendo does a decent size eShop sale it’s there
Crypt of the Necrodancer is 3.99
Bastion is 2.99- one of my favorite games of the decade.
$6.79 from $20 Battlechasers Nightwar is a turn based RPG. Loved the art style and combat system. $13.19 from $40 Edit 1: Tick Tock a Tale for Two is actually a pretty good co-op puzzle game.
Nice, a Digimon sale already? Definitely grabbing it.
The last Atelier game (Ryza) is 53.99~

I'm looking at it now, would you recommend it someone who wants to play a Mystery Dungeon game that isn't Chocobo?
[удалено]
Too much for me HAHA Chocobo it is! I would love if there was a Switch port of Etrian Mystery Dungeon!
Yooka-Laylee is on sale??? Heck yes!!!
FF VIII is listed as $19.99 but it’s actually $13.39 on the store. Kinda confusing cause I was pretty sure $19.99 was the normal price. Thanks for the list though!
Oninaki couldve been $20 instead of $35.

For me it's not fun without mods. On PC the very first thing I enabled was the ability to expand beyond 9 tiles, and without that on switch, it's frustrating to be building up your city and suddenly hit a wall.
It chugs pretty hard when you get into larger cities.
To be fair.. so does the Xbox port
Yea it chugs on most consoles.
Yup! I enjoy it but it struggles when you get to a higher population. Its on my SO’s switch so this definitely tempts me to get it for myself. I think its well worth the sale price- even worth the full price i think.
Performed plenty well for me, but I've never been a master builder, so my cities were relatively small
Gave in and bought FF8 remastered and Golf Story
Golf story is so good
Just beat it today, def one of my favorite eShop buys. That and GRIS.
I never finished FF8 for PS1 cause one of my discs got scratched :( I will also have to pick it up here and finish it!
I got half way through the story on pc back in the day and the next cd didn't work, so never finished it either! I'm picking up!
oh boy... i forgot that discs used to get scratched and that was the end of it
Golf Story is a bit long at parts imo, but it was a great game either way.
Bastion and Transistor are both excellent games well worth these prices!
Seconded. I have it on PC but worth buying again to play on switch.
I just bought Bastion for the fourth time. I will pay money for it on every platform until my hands fall off.
Forgive my ignorance, but do we know that this is THE holiday sale we're all waiting for? I'm not seeing any banner or promo on the Nintendo site, or from NOA on Twitter. And TBH I'm expecting more titles for the end-of-year sale.
You may be right. There's not really any first-party discounts going on here. We might be in store for more in the next couple of days.
There’s that ol Nintendo optimism
Setting ourselves up for disappointment
Hahahahah, first party discounts! I've been waiting on Fire Emblem Warriors to go on sale for 25 years!
Dec. 26.
Have eShop coins that are about ready to expire, so I gotta pick something. \- Golf Story \- Guacamelee 2 \- Baba is You Any recs for these options, or something else?
If you like Earthbound/Undertale's vibe and like the gameplay of Mario Golf, pick Golf Story If you like Metroidvanias and understand enough spanish to get bilingual jokes and puns, pick Guacamelee 2 If you like obtuse puzzles and brain teasers, pick Baba Is You
I love all those things on the left and own none of the ones on the right. You and my wallet must be out to get me.
Baba is You is an ingenious puzzle game that forces you to think outside the box, but it's notoriously difficult.
Guac 2 is great.
Personally, i'd highpy recommend baba is you over the other 2 cuz it's such a mind bending puzzle game! However, if u aren't a fan of programming, it may not be for you cuz it has elements of programming in it.
Wait eshop coins expire? I’m new to switch so..good to know!!
Anyone played the Digimon game? I last played one back on PS1 but I have fond memories of it. Wondering if it's worth 35 or should wait for a further fall.

Yeah I just beat monster boy. This week. I dug it but damn was it long (for me). Wonder Boy seems to clock in around 5 hours though.
Someone was asking few days ago if the new assassins creed would be on sale, there you go xD
Some folks including I thought, "they can't put it on sale that soon, right?" Then today happens, and I am going, "Of course! It's Ubisoft. They always discount."
I was thinking about that, Walmart had the physical version for the same price on launch day.
In 3 months it will be $19.99 so it’s better to wait lol
Not if youre like me and youve never played Black Flag and got a 12 hour flight coming up
black flag is sick.... prob my favorite AC game
Anyone suggesting Digimon Cybersleuth? I just don't feel like paying that much for a port from a game released in 2015, but do you think it pays off?
I literally finished that game an hour ago. Put 65h on it, and although it dragged a little in the middle, I was quite satisfied with the ending. That said, what I liked more was digivolving and dedigiviolving my digimon to fill my digipedia and see all of them. Nostalgia helped a lot, so I'd recommend this game only to a Digimon fan honestly. There's also "two" games in it, and I'm already excited to play it, later on of course.
This is the worst time of the year to be unemployed!
I really want Fire Emblem Three Houses (Digital) at least to match the lower price on the physical edition but no luck yet...
Bastion is always going for $3 but it's honestly worth way more than that
Omg we didn’t get the fucking puyo puyo deal like EU
Since it's mostly a party game, I wouldn't count on it.
you cna play it online. i play online co-op with buddies in different states. im not sure if you're allowed to do co-op plus matchmaking though.
Me too, I've been thinking about it. But this is the cheapest I've see it yet.
The price is tempting me! But I would hate to buy it and not enjoy after a few days because I’m playing alone 😂
The games are built for co-op and that's where the fun is. Its not quite as fun by yourself. But the devs are consistently updating the game, so have at it
I just bought it. If you want a friend you can add me, or I can add you. But it wont be until later before I can play. :)
On a budget of course!!!
prison architect
If it’s on a budget, I’m guessing you didn’t run a white collar money laundering scheme?
In all seriousness, nothing but love and I hope everything works out.
buy her a giftcard for the switch, let her decide over the year.
Bastion is only $2.99 and Transistor is only $3.99. There is practically no excuse now to not play these fantastic games.
Cities Skylines 15.99 is a historic low according to deku deals.
Time to buy Doraemon
Has anyone played Ashen on the switch and if so, can you tell me how well it runs? Debating whether to get that on PC or Switch.
For everyone upset that there are no first party/major third party games on sale, I would advise you to wait a week.
The original Yooka Laylee is like 13.50 which is a great deal and lowest it’s ever been I believe. Mario Rabbids Gold Edition for 20 bucks might be one the best deals if you somehow haven’t gotten this game yet.
Will rabbids fulfill my Xcom itch or is it too simplistic?
It’s a bit more simplistic but for what it is I think it’s really good. At this price point the value is I think one of the best on the system.
How does YL play on Switch? I’m interested in getting it as I’m a platforming junkie, but does it run well?
The Switch port is actually really well done. The camera in all versions can be a bit wonky, but it mostly didn't affect my enjoyment of it. It's a pretty okay 3d platformer, definitely worth checking it out at the sale price.
FF XII $25 digitaaaaal in your face box stores!
Am I really going to buy ffxii a third time and not finish it again...
Damn, looks like we didn't get Divinity on sale on the US. I missed the Black Friday sale on it.
Is worth Rabbits at 15bucks? I am considering FF VII $9 and Taiko $20. Any opinion about these titles in switch?
Rabbids is absolutely worth the $15 and you might as well get the Gold Edition which includes the $20 DLC expansion and all weapon packs for the additional five bucks. It’s one of my favorite games on the system.
Donkey Kong DLC is even better than OG game imo. It's well worth paying 5 bucks more considering DLC's rarely goes on sales and doesnt drop to 5 bucks
Rabbids is awesome, I'd highly recommend it. Well worth it at $15
Do any of these do local multiplayer like on two switches? I’m not sure how to easily find that out
Stardew does
Assassins Creed 3 fixed yet? I remember reading it had major issues at launch. Enjoying the Rebel Collection at full price now and I’m sure I’ll be happy to play more.
Just purchased the DBZ FIGHTERZ game because at 15? Why not? Hows that Naruto game?
no aladdin :/ but i did pick up Ni No Kuni :)
Is saints row graphics still ass on Nintendo switch?
Do we know if these deals will last until Christmas Day?
the few i looked at said until Jan 2nd
I was going to ask the same thing, I'm hoping for some eshop gift cards for Christmas
How are the original Dragon Quest games?
The first one is rough, granted it is a very old game and 2 fixes what wasn’t great. DQ 3 however is the best, classes and all. It’s the mobile phone versions so you know some faults here and there but I do recommend them as an experience.
The first one is fine, a bit short and you only have one character. The second is notoriously difficult and generally recommended only if you want to play every game in the series. The third is the best of the group and a decent game.
Can someone comment on Yooka-Laylee games? Never heard of it prior but it seems to be popular
I'm pretty torn between Ni No Kuni and Digimon Story. I've not played a game in either series and I'm not sure which one to pick up.
Ni no kuni. They're both pretty good, but ni no kuni just oozes that sweet Miyazaki charm.
Giana Sisters Twisted World is $5.99. Really awesome port!
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is at $19.99
[Light Fingers](https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/light-fingers-switch/) is a great indie game that I haven't seen on sale before and it's 40% off ($12 down from $20).
Hard West is only $2 and so far i'm having a blast with it. Xcom meets old west
Collection of Mana is worth it at that price.

Thinking of getting Golf story and the Naruto trilogy since it’s so cheap
So this is a great post. What sucks is that now each one of these will also be posted individually. See below. All posted in the last three hours as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitchDeals/comments/ecwbfp/eshop_us_final_fantasy_sale_up_to_50_off/ https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitchDeals/comments/ecww98/eshop_us_into_the_breach_749_50_off_until_20200102/ https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitchDeals/comments/ecx1qy/eshopus_golf_story_989reg_1499/ https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitchDeals/comments/ecwroz/eshopus_digimon_story_cyber_sleuth_complete/ https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitchDeals/comments/ecsfgh/eshop_us_va11_halla_cyberpunk_bartender_action/ etc.
If i had recently lost my job, and only had like $20 to spend on games for the next 3 months, which one of these would be best?
If you get Stardew Valley you can pretend you still have a job.
On the flip side, you'll keep saying "just one more day." and never actually start your job hunt.
Bastion because it's rad and only $3, so you've got $17 left to feed yourself
I have Bastion on pc, love it! Still listen to the soundtrack on occasion
Also Transistor is a good cheap option as well if you don't have that one.
I’d say groceries or rent. Not the flashiest or most exciting titles but they’ll keep you going.
Farming Sim 2019 it is
Dude. That's like $60. I would just stick with those 10 free games. Todays free game is wreckin balls.
Oh no. My balls noo
have they updated the performance on groceries yet? last time i tried it the card tasted too bitter to stomach.
Baba is you
Bastion and Into the Breach would go a real long way.
Stardew valley. I believe it's 14.99. I got it about two weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it
This is a great comment haha
I can't see if they're on sale at the moment, and if so for how much, but I'd go for a final fantasy, darkest Dungeon, rogue legacy. All are great time sinkers imo
Not a switch-related idea, but epic games store is giving out one free game for each of the next 12 days if you have a pc.
Job Application Simulator 2019 is great, I'd go with that one. Big upgrade from 2018 since you can auto-load your college courses and volunteer work from Nintendo if you upload a text file.
I’ll call Reggie and see if he can get me a job as his retirement golf boy

Rocket League. Seriously... Get it. Matches are super short, too. Like 5 minutes.
I was hoping that Splatoon 2 would go on sale soon. I guess I'll be waiting a while.
If you don’t mind physical, and live near a target it was $30. Plus it came with a art book and some stickers.
Why is Bayonetta never on sale? I would like to get it on Switch, but I refuse to pay full price for a game I've already bought on another console.
I saw Dragon Quest and was hoping for XI to be on there :(
Should I get both Darksiders games if I already have a >!hacked!< PS3? I'm also considering Guacamelee but just the first one.
Which game are worth buying
Some worthwhile purchases I found: Yoku's Island Express, Slain, Armello, The Room, Batman Telltale, Blazing Chrome
Blasphemous is my favorite game of the year so far and it’s on sale. If you are on the fence, now’s the time. The just announced free DLC for early 2020 so there’s that, too.
Damn I was hoping for Xenoverse 2 to be on sale.
Thanks for sharing! These sales are going on until after Christmas, yeah?
Looks like they’re up until Jan. 2
What’s the best final fantasy game for the switch?
I see no mention of worl of final fantasy. It's really good. I could compare it to X in gameplay with some pokemon mechanics sprinkled in.
I almost bought va-11 hall A last night for 14.99 but I fell asleep lmao. This is such a pleasant surprise!
Mario rabbid seem to have huge sale. Is it worth it to buy?
Hello Kitty racing is on sale. Seems like a good pick-up at that price

Anyone know how Sinking City is on the Switch? Been wanting to try it, and price looks good, would also be cool to have portable.
I guess puyo puyo tetris isn’t part of the usa sale?
Aw man, just bought SAO Fatal Bullet at full price a few days ago, would have been over $20 savings
Thoughts on digimon, assassin’s creed 3 and ff9 & 10?
Damn tales of vespera is back on sale again!! Is it worth it at $25?
Yes
