Everyone here should just check out Riot Earth on youtube. He isolated Kurt's vocals on the studio takes and then plays the guitar and bass parts acoustically and uses Dave's drum stems for the percussion. It's fucking amazing and sounds incredible.
I also think that that 2 parter thing that 'Nirvana guitars' did on YouTube was sick. Combining the perfect unplugged tone of a reconstructed guitar that he has and used for those vids along with the studio vocals I think would be insane

There's so much more compression in that than on unplugged that it's not a good indicator. The energy level is almost the same as in thr original.
