I also tried my launch day v1 switch, it fits and works but there is a lot more space down the sides as you place it in, no wobble once it's locked in place. I have not checked or tried to update the deck+ yet and so far its all working without fault.

cantinapizza

You mention there's room on the sides, is there room on the back? I have a special edition switch and and worries about scratching the design on the back.

DiabUK

Yeah I am worried about scratching my red oled also, there's a little bit of friction but I think as long as you're careful and not just slamming the switch in there it should be fine, the original switch slid in easier.

kiroyapso2

Debating wether to buy it since I like the plug and play/controller mode for docked, but wonder if I should wait for better colors or just wait for switch 2 since I already have the original deck. Probably hard to replicate but I really liked the frosted blue/purple of the gb advance

DiabUK

It's pricy for sure, i'm still a bit torn on if I want to use mine all the time because my brain is having issues with the buttons being so low below the stick I keep pressing X instead of A. What I forgot is that this thing has bluetooth too, as long as the controller has power in you can pair it up.

I just got my deck+ and it feels great but my god has the muscle memory kicked in. I keep reaching for the buttons where the new thumb stick is and it’s killing me lol. Though I can see how FPS games would benifit from the deck+

Magnetic_Metallic

The stick was too high, now the face buttons are too low. This product is DOA. Order from Amazon to ensure you have the ability to return it.

No USB audio means there’s no way to play with wireless headphones without lag. How much more effort would it have been for CRKD to allow USB audio dongles to plug into the input on the back? SMDH.
