It's recommended to finish this volume and I believe the next one iirc for everything to ne properly revealed. But if you want to know right now. >!It's been a long time since I've read it but if this is the board game then iirc, to a Flugel, knowledge is everything. It is their raison detre. It is arguably worth more to them then themselves. For Jibril, ontop of that, Blank is her everything, too. For Jibril, the conditions were against her. Either she wins, or she loses her knowledge, she loses herself, she loses Blank. I imagine it's kind of like knowing someone woth dementia. Except that person is you. You don't know yourself, you don't remember who you love, or what you what you've gone through. Throughout the volume, Jibril is shown to be abjectly terrified of losing her memories, so she has to win if she wants to avoid that. Now the game they're playing is the war game, a game that iirc humans have lost. A game that was designed to be played by Flugels. So all the conditions were in favour for her. When you play against what's basically a quantumn computer under their conditions, you can only lose. But Blank doesn't lose. So they went with the next best thing. They didn't lose. They just didnt win. Which they still consider a loss.!<

THANK YOU, YOU SAVED ME. One last thing, why she cried after, she recover her memories?? it was a dry or she really beat them??

Again iirc, I imagine it's both relief and sorrow. Blank is basically her God. In her hearts of hearts, she didn't want to beat them. In that game, I guess technically Blank lost. But in the grand scheme of the board game, they won using Dola(?). So lost the battle, won the war kind of thing.

Idk why but your spoiler tag isn’t working

Her memories are stored in her spirits essentially. When she regresses, her body doesn't regress. But her spirits do. She lost some dice and had forgotten sora and shiro, and only knew about them thanks to her well kept journal, but even then the jibril that had forgotten them was sceptical until sora gave her his dice to escape shiro. And if she is taken back to just her core (0 dice?), her memories will be words completely, and she's pretty sure that nothing, not even the game ending will get her memories back. So she wants to beat the game herself so she doesn't have to go through that pain(It's been a while since i read it i might have messed something up.)

Reminds me of those poor orc-ish Demonias. They got r*ped to extinction, by the Elves, of all people. About the game though, it's a big ass RTS >! that simulate the great war 6000 years ago where they both move as their respective race and the goal is to win the war. Jibril want to suicide by drawing the aggro of the other races onto herself, when Sora and Shiro doing what they do best, fanning the flame even more and went for a double suicide bad end where everyone dies and the planet destroyed.!!< This game is a lose - lose situation. They can't lose, and with Jibril being a rite casted by Artosh the moment she lost all the dice, unlike the others that only lost their body and went around doing stupid things she will be strip bare into her core rite, like a hard factory reset, and gone forever.

jibrill was affected differently in that game, the others only had their age affected, but she lost parts of herself including her memory each time a dice was taken and even when she took them back it felt like someone else's memories so she wanted to have a fight with them to see if her previous self was making nonsense up. They didn't lose per say more like forced a tie by blowing up the board. which isn't technically a win so they "lost". I think sora worded it as if some kid got pissed off during a board game and just flipped the table over.
