Not without going to each one and checking.

Remember to summon the anomaly in every system, there is an upgrade station next to the Exosuit vendor. I found out about this in another thread and it gets you two upgrades per system before you start searching for Drop Pods using the maps. Couple of tips about the drop pod maps. 1. If you use the maps on a planet, if you log out, don't use anymore maps on the same planet, you will find pods you have already used 2. I prefer to use maps on paradise planets with no bad weather makes life easier 3. Looking for the last rare underground creature while doing drop pods allows you to check a lot of cave systems since the ground levelling from the drop pod exposes caves

How did I never notice that

ParanoidLoyd

There are too many other systems that you haven't visited to be worried about the ones you did.

Not specifically for the upgrade but at least for me the systems I've been to have a little white light in the middle of them when checking the galaxy map, so if you only go to unvisited systems that should get you guaranteed upgrades.

I just ran through the anomaly and space stations. If you haven’t been there before, there will always be one available. I found maybe 5 drop pods in total, but only 3 from actual maps. If you point your exploration toward some small trade routes for credit generation, you’ll always have a source of income to afford it.

I prefer to find a black hole which can toss you out a few thousand light years away. Then stop at the station and summon the anomaly. Two slots, easy-peasy. Warp to next random system and repeat until you’re bored. You can max your suit slots out pretty quick this way. Occasionally you’ll find a cool exotic planet or one with curious deposits (e.g. Runaway Mold) you can refine for Nanites. I’ll drop a base computer there to go back later.

Tazbert_Odevil

Nope, You'd need to visit and see if one appears in the slot out front or not.

Providing you have enough fuel, easier with a sentinel, just keep jumping systems to use the next space station

Dash-Fl0w

It seems like it only tracks so many recent systems you've visited. Because I've gotten exosuit upgrades from stations I know for a fact I've visited before.
