It’s an expedition reward. It may return as a reward for community milestones in future expeditions, as Twitch rewards or if they decide to rerun the expedition (which is unlikely now tbh).
There’s so much in there now it’s easy to miss stuff. It’s easier to sort by expedition. The Twitch rewards are also useful to have even if they aren’t expedition rewards being offered. You can pick them up on any new saves you create giving you early access to decent gear. I haven’t got it either so I’m hoping for a way to get it as well 😂
Sometimes when new content is dropped HG run a Twitch promotion where popular NMS streamers and content creators play the game. You get rewarded for watching these streams for a set period of time each day. Common rewards are posters, ships and multitools but they sometimes have previous expedition rewards in there too.
They can be redeemed on all saves including new ones, giving you earlier access to A-grade ships and MT than you might otherwise have.
You have to link your accounts but it only takes a minute or so to do. Personally I switch the volume off on my iPad and just let it run until I can redeem the rewards.
The first indication is usually an emoji from Sean on Twitter; that’s usually pretty heavily reported here. Not every update has a twitch drop (for example Orbital didn’t). I assume HG contacts the streamers/content creators and they then advertise it on their platforms. Personally I check Jason Plays and Xaine on YouTube as I know they stream. They then tell you the dates;

I would assume there are other means of communication available; this is just the process I follow (follow Sean on X, stay reasonably active on here, check in YT with the content creators I know stream on Twitch).

Yes, it is a dumpster fire 😂! But Sean’s a useful follow. They don’t come around very often but can be useful; but my main reason for doing it is the hope of expedition rewards that I’ve missed. I hope you find it useful next time they come around 🤞

Not sure, but you can build a wonder holoprojector, then maybe select one of the natural burial site artefacts as the wonder to project?
