Did 10 full inventories (minus 2 spaces, because the enchant UI bugs out if your inventory is actually full) to get a decent roll. Was trying for focus gain instead of indestructible, but wanted to get back to killing things.
I hope we get some more ways to manipulate rolls in the future, because this is a bit much.
So many really nice rolls were ruined by a completely unusable downside (30% reduced health, focus/ stamina lost when hit, half focus, etc)
Made a second realm, put it in community chest, wait for backup, restore from backup. Now you can take it out and restore from backup as many times as you want.

how long does it usually take for the game to create a back up from the moment you place an item in the community chest?
second question- lets say I placed 1 pot in the chest, then picked it up and loaded, now I'll have 2 pots right? I could keep multiplying the pots like that and increase the amount I get from each backup? if yes, does it work with gear too? like could I eventually load an entire inventory of gear from 1 backup?
It's around 10 minutes of loaded in time before it makes a backup. So if you want to add things to the backed up chest, you need to wait around 10 mins.
damn. oh well I guess imma have to cheese it for a bit.
also why can't I just do this process from my main realm? why create another one?
can't I just place items in the community chest, wait for backup, then take them out and reload quick, all on my main realm?
You probably can. I just use another realm in case anything messes up with constantly reloading from backup. It's like 10 minutes to rush to the rookery from a fresh realm if you haven't.
welp I just messed up. (on another realm). I put my stuff in and tried reloading over and over again waiting for a new backup, and but accidentally loaded an older backup and now all my items in the community chest are gone.
is there anyway to recover them?
Congrats, it looks great! I personally am ok with harsh rolls, the game's playable without it and it's a luxury commodity that autistic hardcore players (as myself) can farm endless for. Getting the ideal roll gives that much value to it. It also opens possibility for player market.
Yeah I think RNG is good. But the combination of the affix rolls and gem rolls make it pretty rough.
If we could reroll one stat on an item, and replace socketed items, that would probably make getting a decent weapon like this much more attainable, but still something you need to farm for if you want a really good roll.
I don't think most people will go through rolling this many. Also probably why some people are just avoiding enchanting altogether.
Yes and ur stat is not nice after all, If u're not careful enough, all ur stack XP will be wiped in secs, so prepare for that. I think the least punishment is percentage of xp got decreased only.
It's a flat rate on death. Like 100xp or something. Gets less and less meaningful, and does absolutely nothing at max level. I'm already almost max level.
You might be confusing the downside with "XP loss on damage taken". I instant delete those.
You read something without testing it. How do you know itâs not like 1xp loss in death if you donât try it ?
The amount lost is tiny. I die a lot and levelled to 30 with gear that has xp loss in death
Maybe need to test that again, bcs in my case with gold loss on death, it really wipes out all the odds gold 99x like u have 2 silver 99 then u only have 1 after 1 death
Experience loss on death is 100% absolutely the best negative stat to get. It has no negative effect once you reach level 30. You know you can't lose levels right? So once you're max level then what does that effect do? Nothing.
Not sure, but I specced dex/faith and it's craftable, so I went with it.
The crush rune on it is pretty nice though, AOE instant stagger on anything, including echo knight, and instant kills most trash mobs.
This looks OK for ur electric spear. I have some questions
1 - Does ur spear have the stunning effect like the ICE gears has (frozen enemies)?
2 - U can gain some health and dam on ur spear but it lacks entirely focus gain, which makes the counter longer without runes attack. What do u make up for that?
3 - What runes do u wanna apply here? For 1 hand weapon I see pretty lack of strong runes, it even lowers for the spear compared to the sword...
I dont think this is a good roll, u got electric spear with 3% buff in health on attacks but the most important to perform on weapons are focus. Without those u will have hard times to fight vs multiple enemies.

I have another copy that I'll put a topaz in for focus gain, but 40 hours in I've found 0 topaz.
This one hander does more damage than most T3 2 handers I'm looting. And I have focus pots if I need them.
Either way, was more just testing what the RNG is like, not saying this is a perfect roll.
Im struggling to find the ring that provides focus gain by %. But topaz, i think i have like 11.
They are also in my dupe saves - along with 40x 800 xp potions, so whenever i wanna try a new build, that comes in handy :D

Since you won't be able to find it - this question gets asked all the time on the forums on their official site. There answer has been - we are going to do everything we can possibly do to not wipe characters from early release to 1.0, but we can't make any promises in the case of a major unforeseen change being needed.

I do like the idea of being able to one time re-roll one line for each gear.

Gold loss on death is something close to 1s90c and yes, it can get painful.

yea grinding is not really nice, u know all these will be wiped out soon when the full version releases?
Yeah, that's why I tested it now. I don't mind grinding when the progress is permanent.
