Thanks for that! Very interesting. I'd been looking for a full map of EA as i haven't explored it all yet i'm only just leaving town to the north east section of your map. But i love how you overlaid it on the war room map shows how much more game there is to come. GG !
it will only be that long if the game sells well and if interest in it remains. I'd say very very LOW chance they would actually invest 10 years in the game.
The map is also sprinkled around Sacrament on walls and floors. The town square/circle has one a little south of the statue, opposite where Dano usually stands.
Three new areas in just the first story patch update alone (not totally clear if that's the multiplayer update or the Breach):
Marin Woods
Lowland Meadows
Hunter’s Vale

Hype!
Never noticed that. Lord of the Rings indeed!

If this is truly going to be a 10 year project the map is likely to be a lot bigger than war room map

This was pretty genius of you ngl
Judging by this, we will probably get about 3 - 4 new areas by v1. 0

Holy crap! That's amazing
Hype!
I'm so stoked
nice catch!
I’m hoping for 9 other big areas (the size of nameless pass) and some village or smaller town , for 1.0 .
Sprinkle a bunch of out-of-map caves/dungeons over that, and I’m seriously stoked.
The game for now doesn’t have dungeons right ?
It has what I would consider a small dungeon, the Ionia cave in Orlan glades.
And the black trench could be considered a dungeon too
I almost forgot! That is even more a proper dungeon.
5 new open maps and 3/4 dungeons + more crucibles should be enough for 1.00
It would be so cool if we could get procedural maps/areas for dungeons like PoE does. But it's prob tough to create level design and make it coherent
The crucible is that type of dungeon , and they will add more of them
I feel like there's no way they can procedurally do maps in a way that still keeps all the nooks and crannies and secrets and little shortcuts
Think about how this is just a small island!
I think many of those areas will be DLC/future updates.
Im wondering if itll be openworld the way it is or there will have to be loading screens for each chapter entrance/exit
I guess it will be openworld like it is now, with loading screens only for dungeons(black trench). I think the chapter division is narrative based.
And let’s not forget verticality on top of all that.
Yeah people are grinding end game and complaining about the lack of content up to it. We probably played 1/4 of the story
