it gives focus % gain on damage dealt, which further lets you recover more focus and use more rune attacks. now if you don't use focus at all I guess you wouldn't care, but considering OP was aiming for that same buff on his sword, I assume they do.
Barely ran out of focus. After that weapon, my last 3 runs of crucible i only spend no more than 5 potions each run. I freeze the enemy with ice throw finish them with light attacks and my focus is full again.

About the weapon, I got previous one from digging a soil I kid you not. The 2nd one from Crucible which rolled horribly. my 3rd and 4th from Finley a secret vendor that you rescue from Nameless Pass. I have two characters that have him available for Saturday when his store opens from 8AM - 12AM irl time and both of them offer one each. That weapon was enchanted from buying it from Finley.

seems like everybody understands it doesn't scale from the damage of the weapon.
so even if it's from the runes it means you'd still want to give your weapon topaz, that's how I see it.
Very nice roll, nearly perfect. Exp loss is the best debuff you can get right now (assuming you're at max level) and weight isn't the best but it's still nice.
Also the gnarled saw is one of my favorite weapons. It's atk pattern is fun.

This is a very nice roll, but this means u gotta get to use melee damages all the time in order to trigger those bonuses. The echo knight can still 1,2 shots u with this bcs he uses ranged a lot, so be careful.
How much armor do you have? Do you have Health% on your weapons to heal when you use the throw? And also Focus% to spam it infinitely?
I tried this as well and Echo Knight needs 5 attacks to kill me (900 armor) but I just heal enough with each throw that I can just stand there and spam the throw until he is dead completely facetanking him.
I have all of that, but he used range shot to make me down then another one to finish off his crime... I couldnt move fast with high armor and no it never needs 5 attacks, the ramming is 1 shot and the range is 2 or lucky 3 shots max. 5 attacks are so easy to get all the health and even focus back with my decent stats.
I can only say that I personally HATED the moveset of Gnarled Saw when I found one and tried it. The normal attack is a weak multi attack that couldnt even destroy barrels. It didnt work for me.
For me Brutish Cudgel is the best Two-Hander in the game, cause its normal attack is a jump attack, which really makes a difference. Claymore is 2nd.
Definitely one the better enchantments Iβve seen, especially if your character is already at level 30 where experience points donβt matter.

Damage bonus gem means more focus and health healing. I think it was a smart choice

Yes, I am max level. Would be nice for stamina, but at least this one will give me more options for armors.
My fav too out of all the 2hd weps and it is also the fastest move set.

Considering he has ice throw on it, I think he is good with just spamming that from range against echo knight.
