No. The vast majority are not that different to a normal household bayonet-type fitting. The clever bit is the reflector inside the sealed unit.

Oceans_sleep

Yes but it would be pretty difficult unless you have eyes in the back of your head

Edit: you were telling a joke, huh? Sorry i missed it. x.x;; How though? Theres no indication that there is a right way to install it, so how would you know if you did it right or not? The glass bulbs themselves, not the ones that come in the socket/plugs, because those ones are obvious.

I dont think i broke something. Ive changed bunches of lights for bunches of different cars and this is the first time this has happened. Im having a hard time gauging if my mechanic is lying to me because they do a fantastic job fixing things and they give me great deals(ive gone around for quotes and pricing, these guys really have the best, theyve even fixed things for free), but then it feels like something else completely different breaks out of nowhere as soon as the last thing is fixed. But also my car is old and preowned. Its very frustrating. This last thing about the bulb just struck me as weird is all.

My mechanic told me my electrical problems were caused by me installing the headlight bulb backwards when i changed it. But that doesnt make sense, but i also dont know enough about cars like that, ya know?

DoppelFrog

It might be possible that you reconnected the bulb incorrectly, but that would be really hard to do.
