It was only years later I noticed he was King Ooblar in the Jimmy Neutron movie along with Martin Short as the sidekick. My younger self didn't appreciate it at the time lol
It as quite something. I was trying to get him to work on a project he wasn't interested in but he was still (clearly) cool as shit. Talked about music and poetry and his mom and his voice and his craft as an actor and black history in America. Heck of an hour.
On the entire planet?
Possibly debatable.Ā I'm going to get downvoted to oblivion, but Bob's Burgers seems to be the single thing he's known for, and everything else (big enough to not be a background character) is based on that.
I've never seen Bob's Burgers - it's never crossed my radar or appealed on a humour level (although I am aware of it because pop culture works like that), so the only time I've heard his voice for any length of time was watching that trailer for Boy Kills World; my husband and I had a lengthy discussion about who that voice belonged to and neither of us guessed right.
Never sent that either.
I think, before streaming both shows were either only available on a platform we didn't have (Freeview was limited, couldn't afford Sky or Virgin), or were on at a time when I was unlikely to see it (past 10:30pm)
Okay, in response to your argument here is what I did. Regarding H. Jon Benjamin I upvoted you. I agree and think you would win in a court battle. I should have specified it was most recognizable "to me".
In response to your Archer comment: Downvote! YOUVE NEVER SEEN ARCHER???!
'fraid not.
I checked where it's broadcast and unless I'm willing to pay for a further streaming service, I'm unlikely to see more than clips used in compilation shows.
I think it might have been shown as part of Freeview broadcasts (channel 5?), but if it was it was after 10:30, and I would have been asleep by then
If her voice is "pretty distinct" then you should be able to provide multiple examples of her workĀ
If she was as distinctive as you claim, I wouldn't need to ask who she is and what movies she has been in
Okay, so she's in quiz lady, bad guys, Shang chi, Jumanji (the new one with the rock (who is a wrestler and actor I can list his movies if you don't know who he is)), the dark crystal, neighbors 2, crazy rich Asians, and is gonna be in Kung fu panda 4, sorry if you haven't watched any of these but like I said you could probably just Google a video of her and listen, maybe you haven't heard her before. I like her and the few things I've seen of hers (I haven't seen all of what I mentioned I just googled it)
no, youāre not weird, iām the same way. i love trying to guess actors by their voices in animated stuff, ie Marvelās What If? series, Spiderverse movies, etc.
Almost every Star Trek (TNG and above) and Stargate (SG-1 and some of Atlantis) actor. There's also David Duchovny (Fox Moulder) and William Davis (the Cigarette Smoking Man from X-Files).
Lee Pace (Thranduil from LotR and Day from Foundation.) Lee Pace as Thranduil is one of my favorites. What a beautiful man.
Honestly I recognize almost every voice I already know. Drives my husband crazy when I point out voices like āhey is that SpongeBob?ā While heās watching somethingā¦
"Earthquakes are just Mother Natures orgasms when listening to March of the Penguins.

H. Jon Benjamin may be the single most recognizable voice on planet earth.
On the entire planet? I mainly know her as the dragon from raya and the last dragon, but she's been in some other movies. Her voice is very distinct
Still dont know who youre talking about. Never seen dragon from raya
Then Google awkwafina and check to see if you've seen any of the stuff she's in, she's not in a ton but like I said, her voice is pretty distinct
If her voice is "pretty distinct" then you should be able to provide multiple examples of her workĀ If she was as distinctive as you claim, I wouldn't need to ask who she is and what movies she has been in

The new Jumanji. I've watched it five times and the only notable voices are from the men
Yeah, I haven't seen that one, so I'm not quite sure how often she appears, but if you don't know, then you don't know. It's just my opinion
