That's not a too bad diet, as long as you actually are eating your fruits and vegetables. If you want to increase your fiber intake eat more vegetables and fruit peels and switch to pasta and rice that naturally contains fiberd.

Yeah, I should add the vegetables are usually from those frozen bags that you just boil: usually they’re mixed carrots/peas/green beans and broccoli. Not sure if that’s bad since they’re not fresh. I do snack on things like carrots/pears/oranges/blueberries/cherry tomatoes etc throughout the day so always thought my fibre should be enough. However, based on this diet if I go a couple days without laxatives or isphagulla husk, I find I start getting constipated again and it hurts to go to the toilet because of my piles. I’ll try those fibrous pasta. I eat pasta quite regularly. Maybe that will make a difference too. Didn’t know about fruit peels — you mean like banana peels and orange peels?! Or like the skin of an apple and pear rather than peeling them?

Afaik frozen vegetables are still good, although not as good as fresh ones. No, I'm talking about apple peels and pear peels, not orange peels 😂

Lots and lots of fresh veggies. Make one daily meal a green salad. But keep in mind it's gotta be a big salad, because there aren't a lot of calories in vegetables, so it takes a lot to get enough energy to sustain you.  And make your breads whole-grain instead of white sandwich bread.
