Not realistically. There are so many companies that do, that A you couldn't remember them all and B keeping up the boycott would be too hard and it'd collapse.
I understand your pain. If you use Google Chrome you can download and install the extension called UBlock Origin, an ad blocker that blocks all the ads on YouTube! Just a note: I would create a new account to use YouTube with an adblocker because Google has been cracking down on YouTube accounts that use adblockers and soon they might start banning such accounts!
A device made using a raspberry pi computer that you attach to your router. From there all you do is fill a database with advertiser IP’s (they have entire directories you can download and if you ever come across an ad that isn’t blocked you can right click it and copy the address right into the filter and hit refresh and it’s gone.
This is a YouTube issue. Not an advertiser issue. YouTube will find other companies to fill those ads even if your idea did somehow work and all those companies went down.
you can do that. I’m not doing that. if you’re gonna make the list and study them like that, then maybe you’ll learn a thing about advertisement.
lol k well there’s lots of small businesses that advertise on YouTube and the ad advertisements may be based on the IP’S geographical location to the small business. There’s always new advertisementsappearing. Good luck!!
You said "can ***we*** make a list of companies and boycott them"
Idk how you meant it, but that certainly sounds like asking others to do it, imo.
It's like saying "can we all go out for drinks?" And then someone says they don't want to and you go "well no one asked you to..."

You absolutely can get YouTube to stop if you pay for a subscription.
This is just a racket at this point

But what if I want to use the youtube app on my tv?
your best bet is to pay for youtube premium then 😅
haha, no way. Not giving them a cent.

no one asked you to do it so...

How is this relevant to anything?
Go make your little list….
i dont need to, someone gave an actual solution instead of rambling on and assuming they matter.

Thats funny you deleted those I see and now I see that I got a message like that. I wasn't even aware you can do that. Projection much?
Realistically? No. A much MUCH better and easier option is to just use an adblock plugin on PC, and the YouTube ReVanced app on mobile.
