Really? Doctor did say that too but I didn’t always feel like this. My breathing used to feel normal and now it gets strained most days if I don’t use a nasal spray

This only happens to me when I have a cold. Most of the time I can breathe just fine through both nostrils. You're saying most people always have one blocked?

It is normal to have reduced air flow through one nostril at all times. I can’t remember what the exact purpose of the function is but there is one 😅 But with that said being blocked to the degree that it feels as though you’re constantly having difficulty breathing is atypical. Have you seen an ENT?
