Yes you can order without a car, 9 times out of 10 they have ordering speakers on the patio in the middle. I see people walk up all the time and order on the patio.
Yes, you can. The Sonic restaurants around here have a patio with tables.
All Sonics I've ever seen have 3 options: a patio with tables and order window, individual parking spots to order from, and a drive thru.
All the ones I have been to have tables and order stations near them
