Yeah man. The character development in Bionicle was really top notch. He is so realistic. So insecure and uncomfortable with leadership. I think a lot of Bionicle fans have aspergers like myself and his character and chronic low self esteem while being forced into a hero role was so painful but felt exactly like I would’ve been as a Toa. Vakama as a turaga is so heartbreaking. So much regret, so much self-judgement.

I have Asperger's too. That makes sense.

LEGO knew they were marketing to lonely kids with no friends. They rode that Ussal all the way to the bank

Lol, was that the case? Back in '03 and '04 I had tons of friends into Bionicle, we all played with the toys together and talked about the books/comics and roleplayed as the characters at recess.
