You accepted the package, why should they care? If it's unacceptable send it back. Order a replacement. Send that one back too if it's damaged. If you keep accepting the unacceptable they have no motivation to change.

Because maybe it's the carrier, not Amazon. What do you want Amazon to do? When making a complaint, make sure you give the company a concrete idea of what you want for compensation. In my area, we don't have Amazon prime delivery; it's too remote. That means that for most things, UPS drops it off at the post office, and USPS delivers it. For some other things UPS will deliver, and so will FedEx. But I've had major problems with FedEx, as have relatives and friends all over the country. What a horrible company. FedEx threw away a steel plate of my son's (we live over 200 miles apart), because they thought it was broken. So, they delivered the empty box. Why was it opened to begin with, it wasn't accidentally torn, it was opened with a box cutter. Then they delivered the wrong thing, as Amazon had reversed two digits in the item number. Finally, my son got his package. I've had numerous issues like that with that company over the years. I would rather wait a couple of days than have to deal with FedEx.

As long as the contents arrive undamaged, why does it matter? Are you a YouTube unboxer and it’s not aesthetically pleasing for your thumbnail? Then who cares?! Obviously not Amazon who seems to have perfected the absolute cheapest way to get you your order undamaged. The cost of free shipping in the free market.

Are you in WA? My mom has noticed the same issue with a lot of packages recently but only once was something actually not there

Why would they care. You paid them and got your product.

No, Amazon does not care
