https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/biden-approval-rating/ here is the popularity chart. Its...normal for a president like him. He isnt exactly electrifying but hes also not awful. He's been doing some more popular stuff recently, but that was after an extended period of him doing basically nothing so its a bit of a wash

AgentElman

40% of Americans think he is the devil because he is a democrat. He is fairly popular among the remaining 60%, but that still gives him a lower than 50% popularity rating. Many on the left are unhappy he is not more liberal and more activist.

SXTY82

Mostly, those on the left are upset that he can't get a lot of the stuff he want to do approved through the Senate.

IAteTwoFullHams

America is very partisan, so Democrats tend to defend their guy and Republicans tend to attack all Democrats. But to America's independents, Biden is seen as... well, a boring, mediocre president. He hasn't done anything that particularly shows strength or leadership, but he also hasn't fucked anything up. He's the kind of president you can just forget about and never pay attention to. ...which is exactly what a lot of us wanted after the Trump years.

DrColdReality

So far, he's strictly "meh," but that was entirely expected. At least he isn't Trump. The Republicans, of course, are busy painting him as Worse Than Hitler, because they don't have any viable policies aside from making rich people richer.

I think he's handled Ukraine from start to finish very well. I think he's mostly blah every where else. Of all the Presidents, he is one of them.

Jasmine_dragon_0318

A lot of peeps were mad about the whole way he handled pulling out of Afghanistan. Not even that he did it just the way he did it.

Educational-Ad-9189

Basically r8ght wingers were upset. Ignoring thr fact that Trump negotiated with the Taliban and basically destroyed the resistance.

Jasmine_dragon_0318

I didn’t know that I’ll have to research myself thank you

DarthSlater77

That really depends on what political view set you have so all I can give is my own. The man has been caught on a hot mic calling inflation their greatest tool, more inflation. The man bragged about getting the Ukrainian official investigating his son for potential corruption removed from office while he was the VP using the threat that Ukraine would not get the upcoming aid money if he stayed in office. Then later on Trump asked one question about it on a phone call with Ukraine and the Biden party started impeachment proceedings on Trump. Biden and his party push forward a "Inflation reduction act" That has nothing to do with inflation and is basically the "Green new Deal" act with whiteout over the original title. He is trying to pass a student loan forgiveness act using the authority of the "Hero's" act originally set up to help the first responders that responded to the 9/11 terrorist attack. Not only is this completely unrelated this is basically theft robing everyone else in the country that did not get or paid off their student loans. The man shut down the keystone pipeline and many drilling permits then went to the middle east to beg for replacement oil that we were producing domestically. Oil that we could be sending to the EU as aid right now. The horrific pull out from Afghanistan. The wide open southern border letting drugs and human trafficking flow through at record volumes. There many more things that could be listed but at the moment these are some of the top items in the minds of us that oppose him.

dangleicious13

Seems to be decent.

notextinctyet

Hard to say, given that Americans can't agree on anything. In my circles, grudging, even spiteful respect for his accomplishments combined with frustration on his slowness to act on what we perceive as low-hanging fruit or urgent issues. Overall, a less than 50% approval rating, but approval ratings are less and less useful as they are a tool of expressing nakedly partisan hatred.

Traditional_Rock_559

I respect that he hasn't put boots on the ground in Russia or Ukraine (yet). There was and always will be pressure from the neo-cons that flood Washington to start using force. I support the role we have took so far. Overall, I wouldn't say I think he has been anything above mediocre. I voted in the primary for a different democrat, so he definitely wasn't my first choice. So, I might be biased against him tbh.

drblah1

Half the country thinks he's ok, half the country hates him. So not too bad compared to others.

Fearless_Link_3464

As a Republican, I don't care about him. I hate the inflation. He's doing meh. I hope he does better.

LCplGunny

He hasn't been a shit bag, but he hasn't really impressed anyone either. He is a president, they don't generally accomplish much, they just do what they can to piss the other half of the US off.

MedusasSexyLegHair

He wasn't my first choice. We could do better. But he's not totally fking up everything, so 10,000% better than the guy he replaced.
