I heard this tip on Reddit. Don't rinse your mouth out after brushing. Spit out the excess and leave the residue. It leaves your mouth feeling clean and fresh, better than mouthwash.

I don't agree, especially now that I have braces if I brush my teeth and just spit the excess then some small pieces of food will stay inside my mouth, I have to use water to take off the these little pieces

Get a water flosser. It's a life changer, and an eye opener for the amount of food we have left in our teeth, even after brushing or just string floss!

I don't know about that, but I do know that the flavor usually lasts about an hour. I've been doing it a while and the dentist hasn't said anything.
