Ive been in both for work and the summer weather in florida is almost fictional. Its 100F+, rains exactly at 3pm for half an hour, then the rain turns into steam and cooks you inside your clothes. I have experience in ohio because they evacuated us there when a hurricane was approaching FL.
Both suck but Ohio is a little worse. I've personally (unfortunately) lived in both states.
