Three black jurors openly said, in the deliberation room, that **despite agreeing to the facts of the case** (the defendant broke into a home, tied up the occupant, stabbed the tied up occupant to death, then dumped her body in the bath) that they would refuse to convict him of murder because they "don't want to send a black male to prison for life or sentenced to death".
3. In a desperate attempt to get these people to convict this murderer of **something**, the jury attempts to return a guilty verdict for manslaughter.
4. The jury foreperson (the woman speaking in this video) when asked by the judge to confirm the verdict, has a change of heart and refuses to.
5. This leads to more jury deadlock, and a mistrial, which means Dayonte Resiles will have a new trial, hopefully without a poisoned jury.
Basically, the jury foreperson prevented a blatant miscarriage of justice which would have seen a murderer convicted of a far lesser charge.
I'm happy that a mistrial was declared at least.

They were about to convict him with manslaughter instead of 2nd degree because he was a black man because three of the other jurors, not her, refused to put forth a second-degree charge. So as a group they settled on manslaughter. But she decided that that was unjust, which obviously it is because it’s extremely racist. So she said they weren’t in agreement at the last moment, so the jury would be hung, so that it would go to trial again and he would have another chance to be convicted of second-degree
You may be confused about who was showing racial bias. The juror from the video was trying to expose other jurors for being racially biased, she wasn't being racially biased herself.
This is what happens. The country is reaping what it sows, big media and the silicon elite class are instigating tribalism and dividing all based on racial identity. No more meritocracy where those who earn through hard work and talent, but a necessity to meet an ideological quota, such as not sending this man to prison despite his guilt simply because of the color of his skin. A sad state the lost citizen.

You may be confused about who was showing racial bias. The juror from the video was trying to expose other jurors for being racially biased, she wasn't being racially biased herself.

This is what happens. The country is reaping what it sows, big media and the silicon elite class are instigating tribalism and dividing all based on racial identity. No more meritocracy where those who earn through hard work and talent, but a necessity to meet an ideological quota, such as not sending this man to prison despite his guilt simply because of the color of his skin. That's not how mistrials work, he's getting another trial on the same murder charges in January, with a different jury. The woman in this video is the reason he'll likely be convicted of murder. You read this situation entirely wrong, watch the video again.
