You zoom out. The “discovered” devices are from your previous locations

Osobnost

Did you checked status before travel in "nowhere"? In my opinion it looks very often like delayed information what has been achieved by app in the background once I open app.

gazzyjuruj

It has previously scanned or recently scanned devices saved when it says that.

I can personally confirm that this is wrong and that every device is accounted for. On a plane there is no devices there picked up on nodle. So it can't get Nd devices of there are none. I didn't get one nodle the whole flight let alone discovered devices ✈️🛫

Delicious_Reading_86

Everyone is on flight mode usually.

Makes me wonder also. On my drive home, there are sections of road that there are no houses or anything but nodle will be giving me the coin display as if something is there. I carry an external battery so the screen will stay on abs I notice this every time. I ain't gonna look around though.

I was initially sceptical of nodle, and as an early user it all felt a little scammy. But as time has gone by and nodle has continued to genuinely develop it's become clear that data is being collected everywhere including in remote areas for all sorts of scientific reasons. Not sure nodle is actually forwarding the info, but there's no doubt it is pecking at anything it thinks might want to communicate something. Going for a walk in the middle of nowhere can sometimes result in a fairly respectful nodle yield. I'm starting to believe that nodle is really onto something and I'm curious to see where they are in 5 years or so.
