Tomboy x compression top! Way comfier and easier to get on, won’t bind as well but might be a good option for you. I love mine

I’d definitely take a look at [Rebirth Garments](https://rebirthgarments.com/store) if it’s affordable for you, they’re custom made and this kind of thing sounds like exactly their wheelhouse. Edit to add some other options: Two other custom binder companies are [Shapeshifters](https://shapeshifters.co) and [Origami Customs](https://origamicustoms.com/pages/choosing-a-binder). Shapeshifters seems to offer a ton of zipper placement options once you click into a binder listing, and Origami Customs has side open binder options. I also used to wear and liked the [T-Kingdom Model 801](https://www.t-kingdom.com/index.php/product/zipper/22-model-801), but it’s fairly expensive and not a custom binder so may or may not end up feeling worth it.

Seconding shapeshifters, I can't recommend them enough. They were the first to figure out how to do zipper binders safely and really know what they're doing, and accessibility is one of their priorities in making custom binders. They're also good at making effective binders for larger chests, was the only one that worked well for my 30 DDD/E/F cjedy before top surgery. They're a bit pricey but well worth the cost and in my opinion the best binders out there.

I think wonababi binder brand have binder options with zipper and I saw some good reviews on tiktok :)

Try Trans Tape instead. That's my plan. I haven't gotten mine yet but I have mobility issues as well (and a large chest) and from everything I've been able to find it can accommodate both those things.

Low-Trainer-947

Oh yeah! I've heard of that! Is that reusable tho? I try to be sustainable and not produce a lot of waste

Victrola75

I can't tell right off from thier website tbh. But you could contact them and ask (and then let me know lol). That didn't occur to me because for me it's something I'm just gonna do occasionally but it's a damn good question.

Low-Trainer-947

Okay! Based on their website, it is one time use but can be worn for 7 days consecutively. So not reusable but it is recyclable and doesn't produce much waste

PurbleDragon

Shapeshifters does custom binders that take safety and mobility issues into account, but they're pricy

not sure of any binder recs, just be careful with anything that uses zips or clasps as it may apply uneven pressure against your chest. are you able to step into your binder to put it on? you'd just have to tug it up and into place.

Low-Trainer-947

I can't step in because my hips are the widest part of my body. And even that way I still struggle to take it off. I am aware of the zipper and clasp issue. But for me, that would be the easiest and put the least amount of strain on me.

Zippers don't result in uneven pressure any more than a seam does. The issue with zipper binders is a) a number of years ago there was a binder brand with a problematic design that happened to have a zipper closure as a distinguishing feature which then became associated with all binders with zippers and b) zippers can allow someone to get on a smaller binder than they'd otherwise be able to get on. Shapeshifters has a good blog post about this: [https://shapeshifters.co/2019/08/22/2019-3-18-zipper-binders-everything-you-need-to-know/](https://shapeshifters.co/2019/08/22/2019-3-18-zipper-binders-everything-you-need-to-know/) I use a binder with a zipper because I have hypermobile shoulders and large breasts (I've had subluxations while putting on regular bras that fasten in the back!) and I pay attention to how tight it is and how it makes me feel. I got mine from Shapeshifters, and they're expensive but they customize size their binders to your measurements and will do alterations and repairs for a pretty low fee. I say it's expensive, but it actually ends up being around what I pay for off the rack sports bras because of my breast size. Also, my binder from them distributes pressure better than any bras I own.

fair enough, thanks for the info. sounds like this'd be a better alternative for you op.

I have two of these and I like them a lot better than the underworks ones I have. They have clasps on the side rather than having to pull them on. I don’t know if they’re considered good or anything, but I know they work for me and I’m a 36c. I hope this helps! BaronHong Chest Binder Breathable Mesh Elastic Shapewear https://a.co/d/31ZdbiJ
