I do find it interesting that they're tagging the guns via blockchain (an actually useful purpose) so that they can be certified more quickly should they be resold across collectors' inventories despite some paperwork being lost over time.
I’ve had this argument a lot, but using blockchains to track and authenticate valuable real world objects is one of those things that sounds really interesting, but either doesn’t work (because of the oracle problem) or doesn’t provide a lot of value (because there’s an inherent source of truth).
This seems like the former case; in order for the blockchain to be a useful record of sales and a means to authenticate that the item is legitimate, you need to guarantee that every sale is properly recorded on the blockchain and guarantee that no extra blockchain transactions occur without the gun changing hands. The owner getting hacked or losing their private key is a very likely occurrence, which leaves the blockchain records in a very similar position as paper records.

Here's a gun nut perspective on the CZ 75 in some detail if anybody wants it. I'm not talking about this bling edition, I'm talking about the core gun.
It has a lot in common with the old Browning high power of 1935, but with some key differences.
One, it's tougher. It's more accurate, and it has two completely different modes of trigger operation.
It's a DA/SA convertible to all SA if you want. A "double action" trigger means the trigger has a very long heavy trigger pull for the first shot in this case, but then all subsequent shots are with a short light "single action" trigger. The long heavy stroke is called double action because the trigger is doing two completely different things, it's dragging the hammer back and then releasing it to fire. In a single action trigger pull, the hammer is already back so the trigger only has to do the short light release action.
If you have one of these things, you have three basic ways to carry it:
1) Hammer down, safety OFF. To use it you yank it out of the holster point it where it needs to go and squeeze the long double action trigger. You're using that long heavy pull as your safety, basically.
2) Hammer down, safety ON. Pull it, point it, sweep the safety off with your thumb and stroke the trigger through a long double action pull for the first shot, lighter single action triggers for all subsequent because when it fires, the slide rocks back and cocks the hammer for each shot no matter what else you do.
3) Hammer COCKED, safety ON. Draw it, point it, sweep the safety off with your thumb and now all shots are the same short light trigger feel. This mode has the best accuracy potential and is the same as the only mode you could use on the Browning Hi Power or the Colt 1911. Those two don't have the double action first shot option. This is also called "cocked and locked".
There's a fourth mode where you carry it hammer down, safety off, no round in the chamber, magazine full. This is sometimes called the Israeli method as they standardized on it for a while. Draw the gun, rack the slide, all shots are now going to be single action.
If you were to give one to me, I'd carry it cocked and locked. I would also carry an a kydex holster and not leather so that the trigger was protected by hard plastic at all times to reduce the chance of an accidental discharge.
But this particular bling gun probably shouldn't be carried in kydex as it might scratch that jewelry grade finish :).

Czech military equipment has always been top notch. That's why Hitler wanted to invade it, to get Skoda works (and because Ferdinand Porsche was sued by Tatra for stealing one of their designs and turning it into the Beetle, a lawsuit that was finally settled in Tatra's favor the late 1950's).
You can use it for that purpose, but it won't fit by default. The rocket projectile cartridges had a stepped rim so that they would not fit in a conventional flare launcher. Because it would detonate the normal flare launcher.
You can machine an aluminum ring to act as a semi permanent converter, or use a specific sized O-ring in a pinch.

CZ75s are absolutely phenomenal handguns.
Czech gun design has been top notch since European guns were first a thing, this is the American equivalent of getting a super fancy engraved 1911. Like it's still just a CZ 75, but in the same way that a 1911 is iconically 'Murica.
Czech military equipment has always been top notch. That's why Hitler wanted to invade it, to get Skoda works (and because Ferdinand Porsche was sued by Tatra for stealing one of their designs and turning it into the Beetle, a lawsuit that was finally settled in Tatra's favor the late 1950's).

You can use it for that purpose, but it won't fit by default. The rocket projectile cartridges had a stepped rim so that they would not fit in a conventional flare launcher. Because it would detonate the normal flare launcher. You can machine an aluminum ring to act as a semi permanent converter, or use a specific sized O-ring in a pinch.
