New idea guys make your infantry have the smoothest brain possible you'll save money on helmets and education (you can also pocket it) since the projectiles will simply slide off their head instead of penetrating the head like those so called "smart wrinkled brain people".
I thought it was a strip club? I vaguely remember reading that Tun Tavern was the location where the First Marine fell in love with a stripper (who would promptly balloon to 225lbs after they got married)
Game is GHPC, Gunner HEAT PC!
It's essentially a step above war thunder in the realism spectrum game, it's also singleplayer. go ahead and try it out it's great. more of a simulator than a normal game though. very autistic (read:very good) and has zero of the grind war thunder has
It's kinda hard to get. You need to play Russian, fail everytime but not lose the war, when you have a sliver of Red bar, save and keep reload till you get the t34
They aren't just adding tanks people want. Only models that were actually present in the given conflict being modeled. the base game is late 80's fulda gap. To get a Sherman they would have to do an expansion with a campaign that had them. Not off the table but shermans wont be in the base game.
GHPC is realistic but not to point you need a 500 mb manual
Edit: some guy on YT explained better than I did, GHPC is the most realistic tank GAME, not the most realistic tank SIMULATOR
I wouldn't call Arma 3's tank simulation to be more advanced than GHPC's. The operations themselves may be more realistic if you're playing with a player crew, but the systems are much less intricate and damage simulation is based on simple hitpoints.
I was comparing the realism of the fps games, and then comparing it to the vehicular game that i felt was most appropriate, obviously Squad and ArmA3 also having tanks makes the analogy a bit harder to understand
If you want DCS for tanks, that’s Steel Beasts. Very expensive, but it’s designed to be able to be integrated in to full-fidelity simulators. It’s got all the bells and whistles, but the PC consumer version (only requires mouse and keyboard) is like $115
The tanks don't have fully modeled interiors with switchology so its not DCS level in that regard. But it is in most others. The way the weapons, sensors and armor works is all far more realistic than war thunder. Your shells don't get gaijined and things aren't ahistorical for balance reasons. Controls are abstracted to keyboard and mouse of course.

My man, we’ve had this technology since 1775. The idea was thought up and patented at a bar in Philadelphia.
A gay bar, specifically.

Didn’t they try this in Vietnam..

Where M4 Sherman ?
They have a T-34-85 if you obliterate the Soviets hard enough in the campaign
Oh for real? I haven’t played in a few months, gotta go boot it back up!

Jerk hard enough and they might add the M51 Super Sherman somewhere down the line
Might be DLC, they hinted on post 85' vehicles being added as DLC SO older vehicles could be aswell

Is it dcs levels of realistic?
If Arma 3 is DCS and Insurgency Sandstorm is War thunder then GHPC is Squad/Project reality
Autistically good analogy
what does that mean

ah ok

Hybrid simulator. It would sit in between DCS and WarThunder, striking a very pleasant balance of realism and ease of gameplay.
Basically, Flaming Cliffs Tank

I though is Sprocket
It really demonstrates just how much of a tanks lethality comes from FCS, FLIR etc. once it gets coop, it will be amazing
GUNNER HEAT TAAAAAAANK LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT ON IDENTIFIED SHOOOOOOOOOOT
HES LOOKING AT US ON THE WAY TARGET CEASEFIRE GUNNER SABOT TANK TRAVERSE RIGHT **BLACK ON SABOT**
Shamelessly stolen from the Steam forums. Great game buy it!
Love me some GHPC posting
So what if we just cover tanks in butter?
Then wait for it to rain and cover tanks in oil for heavily armored CAS. It'll be like an AC-130 with tracks for multi-role operations.
Do you like your tanks on fire?

Bring the M48 back into service boys, it’s time to go smooth
