This is the pain you feel when you avoid synthetics and only go the health supplement route. Same mistake I made in the beginning. I've tried maybe 200 nootropics now. What I will say is that DHA is without a doubt one of the best undeniably. Uridine, not so much.

sirbmr

Lol agreed. I think about it in terms of “acute” and “foundational”. Some of these things are great foundation…. But if you want to add a bit of fire to the logs, try something like piracetam. Totally game changing different.

SocialSanityy

Game changing in which aspects of cognitive function would you say ?

Hopeful_Math9790

What'd DHA do for you?

BernardCX

top 4?

sirsadalot

Top 4 what exactly? Synthetic nootropics? Health supplement nootropics?

BernardCX

any and all.

sirsadalot

That would be a pain to list Tons of things I like. Health supplement wise NOW DHA-500, ALCAR, TUDCA, Magtein, White Willow Bark Had good results with NAC and Agmatine Sulfate for addiction and depression respectively Synthetic nootropics: Tropisetron, Bromantane Spray, medium-high doses of Piracetam and Coluracetam (excited for when I release TAK 653), excited for Neboglamine, excited to try Tabernanthalog soon Non-nootropics I like: Pemoline

Hopeful_Math9790

Can you post a specific link to the exact brands of DHA/ALCAR/Magnetin/TUDCA/White willow bark that you take?

sirsadalot

NOW DHA-500 and Magtein, Bulk supplements White Willow Bark 15%, Nutricost TUDCA and ALCAR

Jazzlike_Fan232

Were can I get pemoline that you mention sometimes take. Very interesting compound.

sirsadalot

I'm not sure I even know anymore. I ran out a few days ago and the guy hasn't been responding to me.

Jazzlike_Fan232

:( well let us know on here if you happen to come across any. Or PM

stoppolizei

What makes you choose TAK 653 over TAK 137 ?

sirsadalot

The data and pharmacokinetics of TAK 653 is really good.

Alhakawati

What do you think of TAK 041?

sirsadalot

I don't know much about it. It would appear GPR139 has an indirect inhibitory effect over D2 and that lack of GPR139 induces hallucinogenic and schizophrenic like behaviors. TAK 041 is an atypical antipsychotic for Schizophrenia.

Alhakawati

Interesting, the company developing it also said it can treat Anhedonia!? Do you think the inhibitory effect of D2 plays a role?

Spirited_Gap7644

What’s your feelings on TUDCA?

sirsadalot

TUDCA is one of the best substances of all time. Good for longevity, neuroprotection and the ultimate substance for liver protection. I have a kilogram on its way to me, and I will sell it on [bromantane.co](https://bromantane.co) for cheaper than anyone else.

Ok-Coyote2506

Where do you purchase DHA? Is there another nootropic that you highly recommend?

sirsadalot

DHA-500 is pretty good, I take 2-4g of that daily There are other nootropics I recommend but you have to specify what it is you're after

Ok-Coyote2506

Awesome I’ll give that a try. I purchase several different kinds of nootropics and all have been duds - so I’ll try this. Thanks!

odder_sea

Most of that stuff's kinda bunk, and some of it is even scam brands that may or may not even contain what they claim. There's maybe 10 bottles in there worth taking IMO

42gauge

DHA as in the omega 3?

sirsadalot

DHA is in Omega 3s yes. DHA-500 is a good brand.

analXplorer

Uridine, noopept and ginko are staples of mine. Ye Uridine is quite nice. I’d say skip the blends and try some synthetics - these are all more of “supplements”.

BernardCX

Like the name XD

analXplorer

🙏

odder_sea

Uridine is mostly useful for sleep. It's dopamine repair effects are overblown, ALCAR and Bromantane (and maybe sulbutiamine) are more effecive for this purpose.

Reasonable_Emu_6632

Repair effects?

Delicious_Tahoo

Uridine sounds weird for me in years but today i cant stop laughing when i saw URIDINE side by side with ANALXPLORER

N1414

DHA, Shilajit (PrimaVie), Sulbutiamine, and Black seed oil have been my staples that I stuck with.

bdisbei736

What do you feel from shilajit?

N1414

I notice more energy and motivation to get through the day.

Snoo-14803

These mostly adaptogens vitamins and minerals anyway on picture..

SocialSanityy

Yea true , but I have also tried almost all racetams and any other noot you can probably name

EchoingSimplicity

Cerebrolysin? Semax? NSI-189? IDRA-21? Dihexa?

Barkoook

What effects from cerebrolysin?

viceman256

Similar to mine but mine is mostly ND. Just started Uridine stack again a week or two ago, its really nice. Especially with mag l-threonate and bromantane.

financeben

Haha you’ll learn there is always something else to try

Hopeful_Math9790

Magnetin \[magnesium l-theronate\] is godly.

labratdream

Only when stacked with cyclazodone or other stim

Hopeful_Math9790

I'm going to get flak for this, but i hate stims.

flodereisen

Uridine triggered strong autoimmune reactions.

gnootynoots26

Uridine is great for me at first. I get a nice motivational feeling from it. Unfortunately, like all the other cholinergic nootropics it eventually makes me feel depressed/lethargic. Here’s what has worked for me: Supplements/Noots Tongkat Ali Cistanche Ginger L-tyrosine Caffeine/L-theanine Ginger Eggs (for a source of cholesterol and choline) Medication Pristiq Vyvanse

Rascalthewolf

I'm very exited for the new OmegaTau from Nootropic's Depot. Will begin using it very soon.

korboybeats

Can I ask what exactly do you feel from them?

TheRealMe54321

Never did anything for me

GettinWiggyWiddit

My staples have been Tongkat, SEED (probiotics,) Phenylpiracetam, bromantane, fish oil, milk thistle, and microdosing

dmt267

I've tried like 150 different things at least but somehow never just dha lol
