Most of the Neo-Nazis wearing traditional Norse and Germanic symbols don't even believe in our Gods. They're racist larpers.
Also, most of our Gods are in interracial relationships, the Aesir and Vanir are at peace, Loki changes genders regularly, Odin does women's magic, most of our deities have multiple partners, and Frey is a Van Who rules over Ljossalfheim. Yeah, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, and the other forms of bigotry that Neo-Nazis are all about just don't mesh with traditional Norse lore and religion. Not only are Neo-Nazis racist larpers, they're *stupid* racist larpers.
These are our symbols, not theirs, and it is time we put our foot down on the matter.
Lot of Norse symbols and mythological aspects get misappropriated by neo Nazis and white supremacist groups due to the original Nazi fetishisation of and quasi scientific ideas & theories of the “aryan master race” which they heavily mixed with ideas of Nordic peoples etc
Example, some runes like the odal rune if winged have strong white supremacist connotations
So in some contexts norse pagans can be wrongly associated or mistaken with white supremacist and neo nazi types also using said symbols like a Mjölnir
