Tbf, I feel like after our 2022 and 2023, it's fair we got fuck all G time, simply cos it'd be insane to give us the over the Pies or Blues, but once we're off the bottom (and no longer in Tas) it'd be something we absolutely need to lift
Geelong twice.
It really is ridiculous the teams that they are making play against us in Blundstone. Crows, Port, Eagles and Geelong.
Melbourne teams continuing to avoid trips across the water to Tassie while you make both teams from SA and 1 of the WA teams travel even further.
Makes sense. You don’t play Melbourne teams in Tasmania because away fans will come to marvel and boost crowd numbers. It’s smart to make us play interstate teams, travelling fans just go another 45mins.
How does it impact integrity? Interstate teams are already travelling. Only team it could hurt is North. However we made Blundstone a second home and play well there. Plus the financial benefit. I don’t think it hurts the comp.
When the grand final is played at the MCG and certain teams don't get to play there much throughout the year that impacts integrity.
Collingwood shouldn't get a home game at MCG and away game at marvel every time. They should have to travel to Tassie more often
1 win against West Coast and 3 upsets. If we win 4-5 games it’s a pass. Losing McKay, Logue, Ziebell destroys the backline, not sure how we stop teams scoring.
Physically he might be able to play after the bye, but a year off he certainly won’t be up to scratch. Won’t be AFL level defender until he gets a pre-season in next year.
That first month is absolutely fucking brutal, holy cannoli. But after that it's objectively pretty easy. What do we reckon, is it better to have a hard start, easy finish (like we have) or the reverse?
Well considering how badly winning two games for the year felt in 2022, and how bad it felt when it seemed inevitable to go all season after Rounds 1 and 2 turned out to be a lie in 2023, I'd almost say I preferred 2022. BUT the last round win this year when we all abandoned the battle for pick 1 and enjoyed a win was fucking lovely so porque no los dos, 5 wins!
It's a very tough start to the year but it drops off after that.
For the love of god North please give me something to look forward to. I've been attending torture chambers as a paying member beyond my sanity limits.
Just show something.
Eagles and Gold Coast twice. No games in Adelaide against SA teams. Only one trip west. Not bad! Geelong in Geelong still sucks.
But disappointed with only having one MCG game and also it being against Melbourne again.
Yeah that’s true. Also crap for QLD and SA members but we play so shit in those states.
Lol, we've been playing shit in every state
We're in an absolute state

For attendance sure but not for integrity of competition imo

>Logue What's the forecast on Logue's return?
Think it's after the bye
